News flash! PERFECT PEOPLE MAKE BIG MISTAKES! —//—

“So now we draw near freely and boldly to where grace is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Have you ever had a friend that you constantly see their great traits show, and then when they do something wrong, you’re like, ”What? You? You did that?”

It’s actually, in my opinion, a great saying to say that ”perfect” people make big mistakes. We put ourselves on high pedestals covered head to toe in good deeds and what we find awesome about ourselves, but in reality, we are human. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes, and sometimes it’s the “perfect” people who make the biggest ones because when you put yourself so high up, you can fall pretty hard.

That is why it is important to accept the fact that we aren’t perfect and also accept that our mistakes are what make us human. If you want to, you can be happy when you make a mistake because it’s living proof that hey, you’re a human being.

What’s the good thing about being human? Well, we are HIS humans. We are HIS people. Yes, we are God’s people that He created and He did not create us with the expectation of perfection. He knew that we’d slip up and fall down, but He loves us anyway.

So, next time you think that you’re so great and amazing and you can’t think of what weaknesses you have, remember that you’re a human being, and that humans fall too. But that does not make you any less loved by the one who is truly perfect.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to accept that I’m human, and that I am yours. Help me to not put myself on a pedestal because I know that you’re the only one on the throne. And even though I will mess up, give me the strength to know that you love me regardless of my mistakes. In Jesus Name, Amen.

~~TIP FOR MOTHERS~~
As a daughter myself, we are complicated. We do dumb things and we are just really extravagantly weird puzzles. But all that I can ask of mothers of daughters out there is to try and better understand them. Attempt to understand each piece and show them love and support. Give them wisdom too, that’s important also.

  1. Such a beautiful reminder. Perfection does not exist outside of Christ – the only perfect being.

As a woman and mother of 3 women, I know how hard we can be on ourselves in every are of our lives. Trying to be everything for everyone.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the onipresent force we all need..no human can ever compete.

So today, I will allow myself grace to be imperfectly perfect.

    Thank you

  6. Thank you both for the encouragement. We shouldn’t see ourselves as above anyone else.
I like the phrase “weird puzzles.”
Like a tapestry, we can see ourselves in a huge mess, from the backside. But God sees the other side of the tapestry, the finished side. Thank goodness He is not finished with us! Someday, in Heaven we will see ourselves from the finish side of the tapestry. The beautiful side!

  7. Bea-YOU-tiful 🦋 Asia! Thank you for that reminder. Continue to shine and God bless you! 🙏🏽💕🕊️🌹

  8. So true!! I use to always be hard on myself when I would make a mistake. But, thank God I had to realize not to put myself up there with The Lord because I have sin and limited. To start examining myself daily, daily dying of self lusts and selfishness. Learning it’s not about my abilities and what I thought I knew or who I knew in the earth. Such a message to set us free as daughters of the Most High and daughters of our earthly father and mother. I use to think that my parents didn’t make mistakes either. Looking back I was grateful as a child and I’m presently trying to have that same type of gratefulness as an adult. Remembering, I’m His child and He looks at my heart and He knows it. He have put people in place for the perfecting of the saints and perfection will be given from our Father in Heaven.

Ms. Asia Triplett, thank you for this reminder and the share of your feelings of how we should be more patient with our daughters and give good counsel. God bless.🤗💖

  9. I was once told that being hard on yourself & thinking you’re not worthy bc you make mistakes is arrogance bc it means you think you should be perfect 😳 Blew me away. Years later, your message reinforces what I was told & also explains with more clarity & compassion: I’m not God, only His child & I’m grateful. 😊 Thank you Sister Kesha & Sister Asia for sharing God’s word & love. God bless ❤🕊🙏
