God is so thrilled to call you His daughter!

“Being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have full endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light.…” Colossians 1:11-12, Berean Study Bible.

My sister, with everything you’ve faced, God has never left your side. He has been a friend like no other. He has been your strength when you couldn’t stand. God has been your courage when you felt afraid, your peace in the middle of some heavy storms. He’s been your shield when the attacks were coming left and right. But I thank God for holding your hand and navigating you through it all. He lifts your head, heals your heart, and lets you know everything is alright. He is happy to be called your Father, your Papa, and your King! He beams with joy, not because of anything you’ve done, but because you are simply His daughter. Once lost but now found. And now, look at you, my sister. How beautiful you are! What a walking testimony you are! What a blessing you are! What a miracle!

God has outdone Himself in making you more like Him every day. He’s been at work in your heart and mind, and now look at His masterpiece so far. Wow. I’m so happy to call you my sister, and God is so thrilled to call you His daughter! As this year comes to a close, your heavenly Father is going to bless you greatly. He’s going to blow your socks off with how He demonstrates His love and your power on your behalf! He is going to lead and guide you by His Holy Spirit. He is going to help you flow with His wisdom and grace as He continues to flex His muscles in your life!

Prayer: Father, thank you that you already heard my prayer for my sister. You’ve done a marvelous work in her. Wow, you are amazing. Now, I ask that you take her from faith to faith and from glory to glory. Be glorified in her life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

  1. You know, I’m not trying to be negative but I have to say it. I always find it interesting how you and even other ministry leaders make these statements like “ God has never left your side. He has been a friend like no other.” and “ I thank God for holding your hand and navigating you through it all. He lifts your head, heals your heart, and lets you know everything is alright.” I’m sorry but I find it really presumptuous that you try to speak for everyone as if God is there for us all in the same way and I’m tired of it.

Some of us, myself included, have a different story and experience to tell. God is not there for me. God is not holding my hand. Some of us cry daily, are heavily depressed and nobody cares and just the level of presumption to say all this. It is dangerous and provides false hope.

    1. He’s holding your hand in the depression. He’s your friend while you are in it. Sitting next to you while make such comments like this that shows your unbelief but He still loving you because you belong to Him and if absolutely no cares, He does. Period.

      Praying for you, my sister.

  2. I am experiencing heaviness and its warfare . To be honest I am discouraged….this devotional was right on time . I know God loves me and is working everything out for me good ! I’m God’s masterpiece no matter who fails to see my value .

  3. Receiving this beautiful word with all love and encouragement it carries ❤️🙏
Blessed to call you sister as well
