Make your boast in the Lord.

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together” Psalm 34:1-3, NKJV.

Have you noticed that there are never devotionals released that talk about all that the devil is doing in the earth? Why not? Because he is a defeated foe and God is greater than anything the devil has going on. God is moving in greater ways in the earth, and when we turn our focus to the Lord, we sense the ways He is moving.

No matter what’s happening, you are surrounded with the favor of God as with a shield. Jesus has completely robbed the enemy of all power to destroy you. If he could have took you out of here, he would have long ago. But the blood of Jesus protects you, the angel of the Lord is with you, the word of the Lord is fighting for you, the banner of the Lord is covering you, the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, and the goodness and mercy of God is following you every single day of your life. You are a blessed daughter of God.

Let’s stop talking so much about how busy the devil is, and talk about how busy God’s Spirit is. Let’s stop talking so much about how dark the world is getting, and start talking about how great God’s glory is rising upon His people. The only time we need to focus and zero in on that slew-footed devil is when we’re rebuking him and casting him out. But Jesus has won our victory. The enemy is doing his job of deceiving the nations, but we will do our job of reaching the nations with God’s love, His truth and His Holy Spirit power. We will do our job of sharing the Good News with as many as we can. While the devil is busy, we and our divine partner, Holy Spirit, will be busier operating in God’s purpose and plan for our lives.

I speak opened eyes so you can see all that God is doing in the earth. I speak the fire and boldness of the Holy Ghost over you. I speak supernatural provision over you. I speak the wisdom of God, quick insight, and keen discernment over you. You are the planting of the Lord. Called to bear much fruit. The enemy gets no free publicity with His chosen daughters of God. We will be too busy magnifying the Lord, glorifying the Lord, and making our boast in the Lord!


Prayer: Hallelujah! Thank you, Father, for speaking to my heart. I receive your word and come into full agreement with you. Yes, Father, I refuse to talk any longer about all the devil is doing, and I will lean in to you and see what you’re doing by your Spirit. I make my boast in you. You are greater. You are busier. You reign in majesty God and I worship you and boast in you alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
