I encourage you to read this out loud. It will bless you and bring you into focus today.
I am who God says I am.
Who does God say I am? I am a daughter of the King and He is my heavenly Father. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am saved and called with a holy calling, not according to anything I’ve done or haven’t done, but according to God’s own purpose and grace which He gave me in Christ Jesus before the world began. I am God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which He planned beforehand that I will walk in. I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood and a holy nation. I am redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. I am bought with a great price. I am accepted into the family of my Father. I am loved unconditionally by my heavenly Father. I am covered with the favor of God as with a shield. I am in the palm of His hands and no one can pluck me out. I am His, and He is mine. Who I am in Christ doesn’t change with how I feel. Who I am in Christ doesn’t change with outward circumstances. I am who God says I am.
I have what God says I have.
What does God say I have? I have a covenant relationship with God through Jesus. I have peace with God through Jesus. I have access to God by the blood of Jesus. I have spiritual power and authority given to me by God. I have the mind of Christ. I have the Holy Spirit (my Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby) dwelling with me and living in me. I have both natural and spiritual gifts given to me by God. I have the love of God shed abroad on my heart by the Holy Spirit given to me. I have the truth of God’s Word in my heart. I have my name written in the Lamb’s book of Life. I have a promise from God that He will never leave me or abandon me. I have the entire heavenly host guarding me and strengthening me. I have a purpose. I have a bright future in Christ. What I have in Christ doesn’t change with how I feel. What I have in Christ doesn’t change with outward circumstances. I have what God says I have.
I can do what God says I can do.
What does God’s Word say I can do? I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I can go boldly to the throne of grace 24/7 and obtain mercy and find grace to help me in my time of need. I can do the works of Jesus, even greater works, because He went to the Father. I can share with others my testimony of how God saved me and is transforming my life. I can lay hands on the sick and they will recover. I can be still and know that He is God. I can call things that be not as though they are. I can hear the voice of God. I can receive wisdom and instruction from His Word. With His help, I can run through a troop. With His help, I can leap over a wall. I can guard my heart and set healthy boundaries. I can trust Him to take care of me. What I can do in Christ doesn’t change with how I feel. What I can do in Christ doesn’t change with outward circumstances. I can do what God says I can do.

I have this affirmation written down in a notebook on the desk. But this morning seeing it now as I’m still in bed made my heart smile because I needed a reminder here in the dark to renew my mind. I’m caught up in a storm of things going on in life to get me off track of God’s purpose for me and make me forget just who He is.
I read through almost all the Psalms from 130-139 to remember what God has done. I found my note in Ps 139 where I tied several verses together that speak of His work, His power and His goodness. Now my heart also feels settled and not anxious about the next few days. In the name of Jesus may the weatherman be wrong and there will not come or be a terrible storm of ice and snow in Oklahoma, and in other parts of US.
Amen and Amen.
Lol…I meant to add that after reading out loud about who snd what God is etc, now I feel like I can speak about who I am. May seem silly but in my mind this morning I had to establish who He is first, then I can say who I am.
Thank you for reposting this affirmation!
