Swift obedience is what God seeks.

“But Samuel replied, โ€œWhat is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:22

My sister, I hear the Spirit of God saying, “No more dragging your feet. Swift obedience is what I seek.” What if God delayed in waking us up in the morning? What if He took His time in causing our hearts to beat? We want Him to come to our aid and rescue us swiftly. We pray, Lord, bless us without delay. Then, let’s obey our Father just the same. Swift obedience is His kingdom way. Doing what He says without delay. Let’s forgive quickly. Repent quickly. Obey God quickly. You see, the Lord is coming quickly and His rewards are with Him. May we move at His pace. Not dragging our feet on doing what He says. You know what He’s shown to you and it is time to move.

Prayer: Yes, Father God, I receive your word and your correction. Forgive me for dragging my feet in any area of life. I receive your love and forgiveness. I receive your strength to not only hear, but do what you are asking of me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
