“But the Lord was with Joseph in the prison and showed him his faithful love…” Genesis 39:21, NLT
God knew what was going to happen to Joseph, and He also foreknew how He would be glorified in his life. God will give you a dream or a word right before the hardest years of your life. Let that dream and that word from God carry you. Let it help you endure the messed up situation. God is with you to help you forgive.
This temporary pit and momentary affliction is working for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. You must remember what God showed you. What did He say to you before the pit, before the divorce, before the betrayal, before the loss? Remembering the faithful love of your Father will bring you light in the darkest places.
My sister, you will rise up and be the great blessing in the earth you were born to be. Those dreams weren’t just your imagination. You will see them come to pass, but you have to receive the strength of the Lord to make it through and make it out.
Prayer: Father God, you know all things. The dreams, words, and prophecies weren’t for nothing. Help me hold on to everything you showed me and spoke to my spirit. No matter what I face, help me remember that you are with me and you are greater than any opposition, any betrayal, or anything else. I choose to forgive it all and trust your dreams for me will come to pass. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
You can read the story of Joseph in Genesis 38-39.

Amen… I receive the Word to remind me of the promise… I am confident that I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! He’s blessing me to be a blessing.
