“It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going” Hebrews 11:8, NLT.
This season of your life may be new to you, but it’s not new to God. Receive His grace to operate in this new season and to keep moving forward. God will help you move into the unknown and into what is unfamiliar. I’ve had times in my life when I’ve told God, “I’ve never been here before. Never experienced this before.” It was both wonderful and terrible experiences I’ve had that was new to me. There’s nothing like being in a place you’ve never been, and you’re having to depend solely on God and trust Him like never before. And that’s where we are, my sister.
This is when we hear God say, “I’ve got you!”
“I’ve got you.”
“I’ve got you.”
This season may be new to you, but it’s not new to Him. He’s not experiencing it for the first time. He’s all-knowing and has already made a way and carved out a path for you. Rest in knowing He knows everything. He knows what He’s doing. You have nothing to fear because He is with you. He will guide you and flood you with His grace. He will strengthen you to keep moving forward into the unknown until you reach His promise.
Prayer: Lord, I thank you that even though this season of my life is new to me, it’s not new to you. You know every day of my life, and you’ve ordered my steps right. Thank you, Lord, that you are with me when I’m in a place that’s unfamiliar. You are with me to help me and guide me. Thank you for holding my hand and leading me by your Holy Spirit as I walk on this journey. Thank you, Lord, for comforting me. You are beautiful, and I love you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
