We were made for relationships.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear…” 1 John 4:18, NKJV.

Jesus could have easily come to earth, completed His assignment and went to heaven to sit down next to the Father. He didn’t have to choose disciples to invest time with. He didn’t have to have relationships with anyone. Yet, He chose to give of Himself to others and let them come close enough to be impacted by Him. Likewise, we’re not called to simply come here, complete our purpose, go to heaven and that’s it. We were made for relationships.

Jesus knew He would be betrayed, denied, and abandoned by His friends, but He still chose to have them in His life. So many of us live with fear of being hurt, so we avoid close and intimate relationships with anyone. But what if Jesus feared being hurt or disappointed? If He operated in fear, we would not have such a great example to follow.

Even if you’ve never experienced unconditional love from a human being, don’t let that stop you from being what you desire to see. Make a choice to receive God’s perspective on relationships. Choose to have an impact on those God has placed in your life and let them have an impact on you. We were made for relationships!

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking to my heart. I ask that you help me overcome every fear with your love. Help me choose safe and healthy friendships and have your perspective. Give me wisdom in my friendships and help me grow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Read 1 John 4:18-20; Hebrews 10:25)

  3. My take away.. “CHOOSE TO JAVE AN IMPACT ON THOSE GOD PLACED ON YOUR LIFE AND LET THEM HAVE AN IMPACT ON YOU.”

Relationships is in area God is working on me and healing from. I’ve lived life on the fast lane and choose to do my own thing and limit the people around me. But God doesn’t work way and He has created us for fellowship and community with others. God is very precise and purposeful with the people He allows into our lives and we are to cultivate and embrace each other. I’m so grateful for what God is doing in this season and my only desire is to please Him no matter what what.. love you all!

  4. 5. This is the word I didn’t want but the one I needed to hear.

I lost the chance to have a good relationship with as godly man because I was too afraid to allow myself to feel something for him. I sabotaged everything once things got serious. Now unfortunately he has moved on and I feel so bad.

He forgave me but I am struggling to forgive myself.

But God!!! God is teaching me so much. 🥺

Today I make the choice to receive God’s perspective on relationships. To love God above all things. To heal and learn how to love myself and others.

I choose to have an impact on those God has placed in my life and let them have an impact on in me.

  6. I pray that God will gives me the spirit of discernment to see God’s perspectives on relationships. I pray that as learn to love and accept others’ differences I will love them the way Jesus has set the example for me. May I be a sweet influence in all my relationships.

  7. Thank YOU my my LORD FATHER GOD,” in JESUS Name AMEN ❤⚘❤⚘❤⚘❤⚘❤⚘❤⚘❤⚘❤⚘
