Have a faith response.

“He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying on and believing] in the LORD” Psalm 112:7, Amplified.

Years ago, I was told by a company I worked for some news about having to make some changes due to the economy. My response was God is my Source.

When given any kind of bad news, you may have a natural response. However, turn away from it. Put it down. Meet the news with a faith response. God is your Source! Your job is a stream of income but not your source of income. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. He can provide for you in many different ways. He will bless your gifts as you step out in faith to create other streams.

If your doctor gives you a bad report, respond with God is your Great Physician, your Source of healing, saying that by Jesus’ stripes, you are healed. He is your Healer and let your complete trust rest in Him. Whatever it may be, receive His peace about it. Your God is able, your God is in control, and your heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord! Lift your hands to it all and have a faith response.

Prayer: Father, I give you praise. To everything happening around me, I choose to have a faith response. I will not fear bad news, but my heart is fixed, trusting in You! Help me to stand trusting in You, my Healer, my Source, and unlimited Supply. You are in control. Thank you for already meeting my needs. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
