When you’re dealing with loneliness.

“And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age” Matthew 28:20, NLT.

Loneliness is painful, and because of it, we choose someone not because he’s a great guy or she’s a great friend but because they are available. Loneliness can have us reasoning that the relationship or friendship is not that bad, afraid to believe that God can and will bless us with that special someone we need, want, and deserve. Deep in our hearts we know the Lord is with us, but sometimes knowing He is with us doesn’t fill the void. Knowing my Mom can cook is one thing, but sitting down at her table and letting her cook for me is another thing altogether. We must go beyond knowing the Lord is with us to letting Him love us and be our faithful friend.

My sister, the Lord has been with us in every season, in every moment of life. He has been there through it all, guiding us, delivering us and protecting us. He has been an excellent friend, comforting us, sending the perfect word that ministers to our need, wiping our tears, holding our hearts, and forgiving us over and over again. Let’s do something courageous and sit alone with Him and let Him prepare for us something sweet and delicious that satisfies the deepest part of our soul. Let’s sit at His table and go from knowing He’s with us to enjoying Him.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking to my heart. You have been excellent in every way. I’m sorry for not coming to you and letting you love me. I know you are with me, but help me go beyond knowing to enjoying you. Heal my brokenness. Heal my loneliness. Wrap me in your arms and fill every void with your love and with your Spirit. Thank you for being the friend I need and want. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. I needed this today.
More than you could ever have known.

THIS is exactly why this ministry is so vital—it reaches people right where and when they need it… and THAT is a divine gift from the Lord. 🙏

Again, thank you for this and for being such a blessing to all of us. 🙏😊

    1. You took the words right out of my mouth. This was so on point and absolutely perfect for where I am today as well. It is comforting to know I am not alone and the only one that experiences these things. Love, peace, and blessings to you! 🙏🏽💖☺️

  2. Intimacy with God has changed my life, after two years of loneliness it has been a turnaround that no one can take away 🙏
