“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord” Proverbs 18:22, Berean Standard Bible.

Your husband wants to give you the world, my sister. He wants to make all of your dreams come true. He would lasso the moon if he could and give it to you. No matter your current situation, you must believe it’s only temporary. You must believe your husband loves you. Be patient as God helps him be the man He’s called him to be. Scripture says, he that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor of the Lord. You are his good thing. Keep being that good thing, that loving thing, that praying and trusting woman God created you to be. God is going to bless your man of God with unimaginable favor. He is going to open his eyes to see and strengthen his hands to lay hold of opportunities from the Lord. Then he is going to turn around and bless your socks off like he’s always wanted to, bringing you to tears. He is going to make up for all the hard years because you are God’s daughter and he loves and cares for you.

Prayer: Father God, I trust you to turn things around for me. Tend to my heart, mind, and soul like the gardener you are. Help me trust you and wait. You are good and I thank you for all you’ve done and will do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. My husband was diagnosed with a lung disease almost 7 yrs ago and today we find out cancer has infected his body. He was taken off the transplant list. His mother passed away from the same lung disease at 67 yrs old. Today’s reading was so moving. My husband says see God is going to take care of it all.

  2. My husband didn’t show much love for me. He was a phlegmatic, avoided doing what he could pay someone to do. If he couldn’t pay them, it didn’t get done (I’m dx’d w fibromyalgia and more). He died, unexpectedly,
    10 1/2 months ago. This house needs over $30k work done to it. Income dropped by 2/3’s when he died, but cost of living only dropped by his food and medicines.

  5. I sincerely and genuinely prayed this morning about this very thing. The tears flowed like river down my face as I cried out to God. My daughter sat next to me and prayed with. Then I read the devotion and it gave me the strength to get off the couch. Please keep praying for me and my husband Royshawn.

    1. I have been since July 31 praying and especially last night and this morning and yes this was so reassuring and uplifting I’ll be touching and agreeing with and for you and your husband; please pray with and for me and my husband Bright.

  6. This ministry and what you all post is God speaking directly to . 😭 I can’t explain….but I just want you all to know that I really do appreciate the devotionals and prayers . It means a lot to me and encourages me so much. Especially on my worst day . God bless you all.

  13. Oh how great is our God!! This is the answer I needed right now in right now time from God! I’m going on month seven in my third marriage but this one is my kingdom covenant marriage that God created orchestrated and ordained but the enemy doesn’t ever play fair and we’re separated my location due to him being Ghanaian and I’ve been seeking God for instructions on how to stay prayerful as well as confirmation that this is All God!! This is so Prophetic and I thank You for sharing it today!!!

  14. May the Lord bless you exceedingly and abundantly for letting Him use you to write such amazing devotionals. This one was perfect timing. My husband is in another city right now trying to build his dream and after 32 years of never being apart I am on an emotional roller-coaster but God is faithful and this devotional hit so many points it just makes me praise the Lord even more.   15. I was so mad with my husband last night that I slept on the couch. My prayers were all about his need to be more attentive and act as the true “Head” of our marriage. I woke up feeling just as heavy with disappointment. But then I opened this morning’s devotional, AND MY GOD, the timing was perfect!
    That really emphasizes the emotional intensity and the stunning timing of the devotional. What did the devotional say that made it such an “AND MY GOD”!

  17. I filed for divorce yesterday. I have been waiting and praying for over 20 years. I’m exhausted by the waiting. I take solace in the efforts, prayers that have gone forth and the years of trying. We gave a good try. I think women are taught to make all of the sacrifices and do all of the waiting, praying and trusting for our marriages. Then you wake up one morning and realize this is not a Godly marriage.

  18. My husband lost his job and got injured after losing his job.. I been so upset with him but know that God wants me to forgive and nurture… I know he loves me but I’m so upset with him for his repeated mistakes. Hearing this gives me hope..thank you! I been reading your devotions since 2012. I’m so grateful your still doing Gods works. Ugh I needed this today❤️🥹 this was like a slap that wakes you up and says you already know what I taught you act accordingly 😂humble forgive and love
