“Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:19
Every year, the Lord gives my husband a word for the year that blesses our family. Without fail, that word has come to pass. Last year was a year of higher, where God indeed took us higher in every area of our lives. I want to share this word for the year with you, praying it will bless you and your children as well.
The word God has given him for this year is:
New. The Lord has great things in store for you. I believe God’s will for the Body of Christ this year is His people will enter new things. There will be new experiences, new territory, new priorities, new levels of income, new and fresh eyes to see what advancing God’s kingdom truly means, and a new heart to be about God’s business of reaching and touching lives. There are going to be great new victories you will experience—so many awesome new things that you will encounter in 2022. I also believe this will be a year of permanent change. There are things in your life God is going to change. He’s going to turn it around. He’s going to do a work in you internally, and once He does it, it will remain. The changes He will accomplish in you will not be something you experience for a moment, but it will be something you experience for a lifetime because it will be a permanent change from the Lord.”
Prayer: Father, thank you for this prophetic word that you have given me. I receive it and pray it is planted deeply in my heart and produces a one hundredfold harvest in my life. Thank you for making this a year of new things, Father! Thank you for permanent change that will remain! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
(Read Isaiah 42:9)
