Lord, I pray for my sister and I. You are our loving Father who is more than enough. I pray you will be more than enough for us. Help us not sit in your presence longing to be somewhere else, with someone else, doing something else. Help us be fully present with you, and satisfied in our hearts with you. Cause us to recline in you so much so that our feet are propped up and our hands are behind our heads. Here with you, we give you every concern and burden, and we ask that you give us rest for our souls. Pour your love, your peace, your power, and your favor all over us. We come to you because you are our oasis, and we love you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. Lord when I was trying to pray and spend time with you it seems like it’s getting harder and harder to sit still, to listen and quiet my mind and heart. A beautiful restful prayer just for me. This prayer gave me rest and peace in my heart just from reading it 😭. I felt as though God was talking directly to me but through my heart(hope that makes sense). Overall it was definitely what I needed this morning. I thank you God for the PEACE in all things situations or circumstances.
