Rebuking depression is like rebuking a bruised knee, or a broken leg. Rather pray that God heals the depression when you’re dealing with someone who is experiencing emotional pain. Be patient while they heal. Be patient while God brings them through it. Let them know you care and you are there for them as close as they need you to be.

Thank you for the wise counsel, I will do just that with my loved one. It is an emotional pain that need to be share so they will stop going through the same cycles, having the same patterns and not wanting to let them go because they have been disappointed for so long with so many things. Pray that they open the eyes of their hearts and know/wanting to know the “Truth” with God’s unconditional and unfailing love and He’s not going to change on them. Thank you for the encouragement and wise counsel. That I will have more compassion, love that listens intently, and patience that let’s them see God’s grace and mercy with His “Forgiving Love” and that His Faithful!!! Praise God!!
