Be loosed in Jesus’ name

“And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” Luke 13:12-13

Here Jesus performs a miracle while teaching in the synagogue on the sabbath. He heals a woman of an infirmity that had caused her to not be able to lift herself up. She had been bound by this disease for eighteen years, but Jesus loosed her and set her free. In one moment, she was stooped over and bound, and in the next, she was standing upright and glorifying God!

Sickness binds. It causes someone to not be able to move about freely. Poverty and lack binds. It causes someone to not be able to meet the needs of their family and be the great blessing financially that they desire to be. Fear binds. It causes someone to not move forward into God’s purpose and plans for their life. These are all evil spirits that are sent by Satan to bind people and rob them of their quality of life.

Many have been bound for years, but just as the power of Jesus’ words loosed the woman in the Bible, the power of God’s word can loose you today! You are a daughter of Abraham and a daughter of the King and you don’t have to live bound another day of your life! Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity, loosed from your fear, loosed from poverty, loosed from depression and anything that else has you bound!

Prayer: Father, thank You for loosing me from all bondage of the enemy! I am your daughter and I declare I am free. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and use me to set others free by your power and the authority you have given me. In Jesus name, Amen.

  2. Good morning Father God! My Heavenly Confidant, all knowing God, thank You for giving the mind to be stayed on You! Help me to continue to be stayed on You, so that my infirmities be loosed as You will have them be! These things I pray in Jesus Christ name, Amen! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

  3. Wow! I definitely feel bound by my job and severe highway anxiety. I need to be loosed so I can move in freedom! I have the victory over this!

  9. I just prayed for someone.During the prayer, I prayed that God would send His Word to bring deliverance in every area of her life. After the prayer, I was wondering if she would even know what that meant. I had conferenced/ministered to her for almost a hour. She likely needed to go to work, and I needed to wrap up and get out of work, so I could not explain it. I got home still wondering. Then, I get home and read this devotional and it talks about Jesus’s words delivering. Holy Spirit is letting me know through this devotional that I prayed what He wanted. When one prays prophetically, Holy Spirit prays, we just yield to Him. Sometimes, we may pray something and wonder if the receiver understood, or if we were on target. Or we pray something and later wonder whoo, that was out there or that just came up randomly when I was praying? We wonder, was that my words, did I miss it, or was it Holy Spirit’s Words? Sometimes Holy Spirit will pray something that we don’t even understand completely, but it is Him. When I wonder if I was on target, He always sends something to confirm that I was and that something many times is scripture or something with the scriptures in it (a devotional, etc). In this case, the scripture is the Woman with the Issue of Blood from Luke 13.

    That said, God is launching me into my purpose. Not that I’ve not already been walking in it and do so even now. He is launching me into a higher and then even higher levels in purpose. He told me this after I ministered to and prayed for a parent during a conference today. This was the person that I was wondering if they understood what I prayed out.

    Your devotionals have given me so much strength, wisdom and encouragement time and time again. Your devotionals have walked beside me as I travel the journey to be the leading lady of God, He has called me to be. I am immensely grateful. A month or so ago, I had to stop supporting your ministry. In a couple of weeks, I will be able to resume and go from given $20 a month to $30. My heart is to do much, much, much more, but I can’t right now. I will say this though, as the Lord increases my finances I will increase my giving. I will support this ministry for as long as the Lord leads me. You are so sincere and you have the Heart of God. My spirit bears witness with Holy Spirit that this is so. I love you, Kesha. Your ministry has blessed my life so much. I get a little down when I can’t give more and really desire to, but like I said, as the Lord increases me, I will increase my giving. You’ve given so much of what God has given you to give us, so I love sowing into this very good Godly and fertile ground.

  11. Lord, please help me to break free from anyone or anything that interferes with my peace and quality of life. Allow me to set my eyes on You, Your good Word, and things eternal. The enemy is busy, but my God is able to defeat him and defend me. Thank You, Precious Lord! 🙏🏾🙌🏽❤️
