Choose to have a right attitude!

“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform” Romans 4:20-21, NKJV.

Years ago, I worked for an employer that no one liked. The work atmosphere was always stressful and everyday I came home feeling discouraged and stressed out. My attitude wasn’t good at all. I began to pray and ask God if I could leave and move on to something else, but He told me, “No, change your attitude.” So with His help, that’s what I began to do. I would say, “I love my job, I love my job, I love my job and everyone I work with!” I would say this on my way to work, under my breath while at work, and on my way home. I even put sticky notes on my computer. After a while of changing my attitude, God began to bless me with favor on that job. He even blessed me to minister to my boss and we became great friends! When I did leave that job it wasn’t out of frustration; it was because God had promoted me to another assignment.

The Israelites were delayed forty years from entering into the Promised Land because of their attitude. Don’t let a bad attitude extend your stay in a place you know you’re not destined to be. God wants to bless you with promotion, favor and blessings. Start saying, “I love my job and I love everyone I work with!!!” Say it by faith!

Choose to have a right attitude. My husband always say, “If you can’t get out of something, get into it!” If God’s not allowing you to leave an uncomfortable situation, ask Him to help you get into it. He has you there for a reason and a purpose. There’s someone He wants you to reach. Change your attitude by focusing on why you are there. Maybe it’s not for you, but for them.

Prayer: My God! Forgive me for my attitude. Help me to have and maintain a right attitude of faith, of thankfulness, and trust in you! I trust your perfect timing and your perfect way. Use me where I am. Be glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    1. This is so for me. I’m currently going thru this. Lord I Truly thank my sister in Christ Jesus for sending this to me on today. She honestly had no knowledge of me going through this.

  1. I went through this as well. I worked for an employer for 12 years before God blessed me with something new. I used to pray daily, write in my journal about needing a new job. I was so depressed and would dread every morning getting up . I would sleep good but when my alarm clock went off I was sooo tired I couldnt move just the thought of going there. The people there were toxic and customers were. People hate to see someone praised when I would work harder then them. The big bosses like me would always come and have long conversations with me and people would talk behind my back and just whisper as I walked by and some would say something but in a slick way to let me know how they felt or that others felt some kind of way. I was so depressed because it felt like a dark cloud over the office. When i went home I couldnt be a mother thats how mentally tired I was . I would go home and go to bed. I eventually got a new job after a few people left the same ones that talked about me ask me for a reference letter got a new job before me. Now i didnt want those jobs but they got a raise and was out. Didnt like it was hired back after saying theyll never come back and left tons of work. I had to catch up and fix. I told my supervisor if you hire them back Im leaving. I said that with authority. I said that with faith. I knew God was an on time God. A few months later I was hired an hour after an interview. This job is so much better. God knew i was tired and ready to move on but in his time the right time I was able to leave. I left before they all started back. I did start and never spoke to me after me helping her. Ignored me , rolled eyes etc. i was God you know I cant deal with this drama. Now im gone they there. No help from them @ all. I got a raise more then they did and i hear they complaining yet again. God is wonderful and he knows whats best for me when its best for me. I had to say im thankful for that job it pays my bills, help me be a good mother, insurance etc.! Once I looked at it like that things changed. Attitude is everything.
Im blessed to know the work of the Lord in my life and can share it. If it had not been for him where would I be….. still there 👀 lol idk. Lord I thank you. You are so great to me. Continue to work in my situations on your time. In Jesus name! Amen!

Your messages are sooooo impactful on my life, They always minister to every situation I’m facing– even if I don’t want to accept it at first. That’s how I know that you are led by God. May He continue to bless and keep you and your family. Thank you for your continued obedience to the Holy Spirit.
