Christ Lives in You

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height…” Ephesians 3:17-18

When did you first welcome Jesus into your heart home? Did you feel His warm presence? Did you feel His great love? Did you feel brand new? Full of hope and confidence? Maybe you couldn’t stop smiling you felt so great. Maybe the sun seemed to shine extra bright just for you and you didn’t have a care in the world. You knew He was there because of how you felt. In writing to the believers in Ephesus, Paul mentions something very critical in his prayer for them. He prays that Christ would dwell in their hearts by faith. Paul was challenging their faith.

When it comes to faith, you must believe whether you feel it or not. At the very core of our belief system is faith, trust and reliance upon the fact that the Spirit of Christ lives in our hearts. And if He lives, so do we. You will face trials that will cause you to question whether or not He really lives in you. You will have days on your journey with the Lord when you may not feel His warmth like you did when you first believed. You may not feel brand new. You may feel full of sin, but even in that, Christ must live in your heart by faith! It’s a faith thing! Walk in newness of life by faith! Walk in who you are in Christ by faith! Go to Him in prayer by faith! Go beyond feelings and get over into faith. Your faith will see you through every test and trial. Christ lives in you!

Prayer: Thank you, Lord. Your Spirit lives inside of me. I receive your love and your grace. No matter how I feel and no matter what’s going on around me, I trust that you live in me. Comfort me, and help my faith continue to grow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    1. God has been really reiterating the power of faith in my heart and mind. I continually hear the holy spirit reminding me
of Romans 1:17, “For therein is righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”

  1. My GOD!! Get out of feelings and get over into faith!! We cannot serve god with that feelings. It has to be a faith walk and I’m learning that every day! So no matter what I feel like today, or whatever is going on around me, I’m walking in faith because I know He’s with me and He lives on the inside of me! Thank you Woman of God! Be blessed! ❤️❤️

  5. Good Evening!! I have to be completely honest that some days I don’t know if He lives in me because of my thoughts, and other days I feel Him so strong. As I learn of His love for me as I grow more in Him I smile because He is in the earth in everything I look at from the sun shining, rain, snow, flowers blooming, and the birds singing with the ducks walking across the road. Even the ice hanging from the trees from a storm makes me smile to know He’s in everything. Then, when I wake knowing that He took the time to breath the breathe of life this morning in me giving me health and strength with the activity of my limbs. Knowing that He didn’t have to do it, but glad that He did touch me and breathed in me. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
The more I learn of Him and His love, the more I love Him and want to share that love.

Sister Kesha, thank you again. Hats off to you. God bless🙏💐❤️💐❤️
