“Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!” 1 Chronicles 16:34, ESV
I’ll never forget my 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Benton. She was the best. I remember her because she gave me the answers to the test so I could pass third grade. She voted me class comedian. After finishing college, I decided to go and pay her a visitβnothing like an adult student going back to see their favorite elementary school teacher. I smiled the entire ride to the school. With flowers and a card in hand, I walked to the front office. “Yes, I’m here to see Ms. Benton. I was her 3rd grade student years ago,” I said to the receptionist. She handed me a visitor pass.
As I walked to the classroom, I imagined she would immediately recognize her favorite student, and we would embrace as I shared with her all of the wonderful memories of how she contributed to my success. I walked into the classroom filled with loud 3rd graders. She gave me a blank stare as I said, Hi, Ms. Benton. Then she turned and screamed, “Shut up!” at the children and turned back to me. I told her how much being in her class meant to me, and we hugged. But as I left, I could hear the yells of a tired and frustrated teacher who I wish I had come to see sooner.
Don’t wait to say thank you, my sister. If there is anyone you know who has made a great impact on your life, don’t wait. They could use your love, your hugs, and your encouragement right now. They could use some success stories, see some kids who turned out right, and hear your good memories with them that blesses them. Give the old teacher, the mentor, professor, and mother-figure their flowers as soon as you can. Don’t wait to say thank you.
Challenge: Who are the people who were most impactful in your life? Who did God use to get you where you are today? Plan a visit or write a thank you letter. Find a way to honor them.
Prayer: Thank you, Father, for every person you have placed in my path to greatly impact my life. Thank you for their love, their prayers, and their support. Just as I don’t wait to praise you for all you’ve done, I won’t wait to say thank you to those who have been instrumental in this blessed life you’ve given me. Bless them richly, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Good morning Father! The first person I want to thank is You! Thank You Father God for giving me a humble heart! I thank people as I go along this journey called life! If there is one I failed to thank, please help me and bring them to the for front of my mind, so that if they’re still around, I can say thank you! The second person I thank constantly, is my Mom! I don’t know where I would be if it weren’t for my praying Mother! If it weren’t for her financial support! If it were not for her love for me! Thank you Ma, I love you! I know that her strength comes from You Father God! Thank You Lord God for loving my Mom! I love You Lord and I thank You for my life with You in it! Amen! ππΎππΎππΎ
Always grateful!!! I try to show gratitude to those who bless me. My mother always reminded me that people don’t have to be nice and compassionate to you.
Always thanking God for his grace and mercy!
Thankyou Keisha,
You have made a powerful impact on my growth with my Papa God. As I was searching, praying and reading scriptures I needed a powerful devotional after suffering through 4 brain surgeries, recovered and have been home for sometime. I continue to fight a disease that I was given to me at 14 years old called Scoliosis. The Lord led me straight to your encouraging messages and forever Scripture verses, now put to my memory. I just turned 70 years old. I’m doing well and have become an encouragement to friends and family , friends and strangers I meet in everyday life. Because God led me to your devotional, I AM A WARRIOR FOR OUR AWSOME GOD, and thanks to you, being led by Hm, for helping me become who I am today.
I seek His wisdom daily and with empathy, compassion, and a truth that forever set me free.
For God so l9ved the world, He gave His only begotten and made a way for me to live with Him in eternity.
Our God did not give me the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.
He gives His angels watch over me, that I may not be moved. Oh how He loves us.
THANKYOU FOR BEING A POWERFUL INFLUENCE IN MY LIFE.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
This was beautiful. As a teacher for over 20 years, I am now experiencing some things that only God can change. When I read this it brought tears down my face. Teaching isn’t how it was when I was a child and we definitely need the positive words and encouragement. I thank God for allowing me to read this daily devotional. This was right on time. Thank You Lord.
Hallelujah and amen to the two powerful words. Thank You, Sister Kesha, and I thank God for you

As I think back to who I would love to thank, it may not be possible as the person was elderly years ago. But, I would like to thank the Lord for all He has done. Thank you. Blessings, Shalom and Agape πππ½β€οΈπππ½
