Flawless

“Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and He now declares us flawless in His eyes” Romans 5:1, The Passion Translation.

I was on a call with a group of ladies, and we were approaching a Q&A. One girl mentioned that she had been avoiding God and asked if and how she could come back to him.

And I wondered how many other women feel this way? Wanting to come back to God but not knowing how. It touched my heart because I’ve asked that question many times. But the gospel is filled with eternal truth that sets us free from wondering “if” or “how” we come back to God.

Romans 5:1 in the passion translation says that He sees us as flawless in His eyes. Think about that for a second, my deeply loved sister. That verse does not say He sees you as flawless because you prayed this morning or because you have it all together. He doesn’t see you as flawless because of what you do but because of who He is and what He has done.

When we believe that Jesus is the son of God, took our place on the cross, and rose on the third day, we are born again and made into a new creation. We are also made one with Him. This means that His Holy Spirit is united with ours, and He NEVER leaves us.

Can you come back to God? He never left you. How do you come back to God? By believing in what He has done and who He says you are.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your extravagant love. Thank you that your love is based on who you are and not what I do. Thank you that Jesus took my place on the cross and making me flawless in your sight. By faith, I believe that the Holy Spirit is with me, and I am never alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Isn’t it wonderful to know there’s someone, our Lord, who sees us as flawless. The first way to come back to Hod is to repent of turning away to begin with and He is faithful to forgive us. He never leaves us or forsakes us but He will not force a relationship. He allows us our own will because He does love us so.

  2. Good Morning! Hallelujah 🙌🙌
I’m so glad that this subject was brought out. This is going to free so many that’s in bondage in their minds and how their feeling about themselves. To know that we can’t do anything to make Him love us any more, or to make Him more proud of us. It’s our personal relationship with Jesus and faith in who He is and what He has done. His blood have justified us. This is why one of my favorite scriptures is Jude 24&25.

Thank you all for always being on target with the devotional’s. Sister Kesha and DOTK team keep on. God bless 🙏💕

  5. Being flawless is never is doing anything but recognizing our sins
Giving what we see to God He will replace our sins with His Love
Yes Jesus died for all our sins but we have to recognize them so we can be healed of them
    And God does the transformation
I have gone through this process
    And
When God sees me He will see me flawless only cause HE sees HIS Son in me
The lies of Satan can keep us afraid to run to Jesus
    This was my life
    I was afraid
As a child who broke the big picture window and waiting for dad to come home to discipline me
The child was fearful and afraid all day long of what dad was gonna do
Yet to my surprise when I let go of all the lies
My Father came in grabbed me and held me and said it will be well with your soul
Just as the lil boy who broke the window
Dad came in hugged him and said let’s fix this together
God is a loving God yet the consiquenses of our actions
We need to recognize and allow God to replace it with His Son so God can see us flawless
    Thank you for sharing
I see this message is not Kisha
    Stay faithful 💕

    1. My sister, God has sent me some new writers to assist me and I am helping them grow as writers. I do not want them to write like me, but write in the way God gives them. Please be a source of encouragement for them. Thank you, Kesha Trippett

  6. Amen Ashley. When I was 15 I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Soon afterwards I moved away and fell away. I did many hurtful things to my body with drugs and alcohol. Was involved in abusive relationships and later was diagnosed with cancer. I remarried and Godly man who led me back to Christ. I am alive today because Jesus never left me. When I accepted Him at 15 I was sealed with the Holy Spirit. Yes, I fell away but I know that His Mighty Loving Hands were on me the entire time! Praise God for His Mercy and Grace. Thank you for sharing this devotion may I never forget what Jesus Christ has done for me.

  7. This message spoke to me and touched my heart.
Just have one issue Bc teachers are taking very seriously in the Bible

However not trying to pick apart, or be religious. I’m trying to get a better understanding. It has created some confusion.
I’m not confused by the truth of the word, just need a clarification on the statement made. I may have misread it ?

Could you explain to me what you meant by you that all we have to do is believe and we are born again ? One with God?

I would like to share that the word of God has taught me.

Jesus distinctly told Nicodemus, truly truly you must be born again by water and spirit to even see the kingdom of God. And in the books of Acts in which comes before the book of Romans. In Acts 2:38… it says to repent for the remission of our sins, and be baptized by water and you shall receive the Holy Spirit.

Just to clarify there is no Specific order of baptism for spirit.

Yes the first step is to believe.. but there’s also steps to obedience to receiving the Holy Spirit. We are not born with the spirit, yes we are one with God because were made in his image. Yeah we don’t become children of God until I receive and repent.
This is clearly stated in the Bible more than once

    I-don’t see where it
supports that we just believe and we are one with God and were born again? In Romans yes, but the book of Acts is before Romans. Act tell you how to be saved and Romans tells how to stay saved. There is more to it….

God will always love us bc nothing can separate it.. but we can separate ourselves by continuing to sin. And turning away from God completely … that’s a whole other truth

So thankful for a merciful Graceful God..

I would like to add, speaking in tongues is real, and it’s our prayer language when we do not know what to pray

And I know this by my own experience.

thank you for taking the time to reading this, it’s not an attack. Just clarifying

Bc we are held responsible for for teaching and speaking truth for true salvation 🙂

    Take care, love Ash

  8. Flawless makes me think of Instagram and cosmetic surgery lol. I never knew this or thought of this before, what u posted. So thank you. (Better than Instagram or cosmetic surgery type of flawless obvs. Plus that kind of flawless is based on unnatural messed up aesthetics/beauty standards but anyhoo I digress)

  9. This devotional has been very helpful to me. Now that am going to school and have no phone to access the devotional, I sometimes fall short in those times. So please remind me in your prayers. Thank you
