Give Ear to Faith, Not to Fear

“…The righteous shall live by faith” Romans 1:17, ESV.

Fear will tell you that your situation will never change. Faith will tell you nothing is impossible with God (see Matthew 19:26).

Fear will tell you nobody loves you. Faith will tell you God loves you with an everlasting love and that’s all that matters (see Jeremiah 31:3).

Fear will tell you that you’re about to die. Faith will tell you to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (see 2 Corinthians 5:8).

Fear will tell you everyone is against you. Faith will tell you if God is for you, who can be against you? (see Romans 8:31)

Fear will tell you that you are worthless and will never amount to anything. Faith will tell you that you are saved and called by God with a holy calling and you have a purpose (see 2 Timothy 1:9).

Fear will tell you that your needs will never be met. Faith will tell you that God will supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (see Philippians 4:19).

Fear will tell you that you just can’t do it. Faith will tell you that you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you (see Philippians 4:13).

Have you noticed by now how fear will always tell you what the enemy wants you to think, while faith declares the word of God? Faith declares His truth and fear whispers the enemy’s lies. Rather than choosing to give ear to fear, listen to what the Spirit of faith is saying to your heart.

Prayer: Father God, I thank You for the truth of Your word. Thank You for helping to live by faith. It’s the only way to live. Help me to operate in faith, to respond by faith, and to be moved by Your truth only. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  11. I would like to share a miracle that involved my youngest grandchild. He will be 3 in mid–September. He was walking in a parking lot with his Mom, Dad and sister, drinking from a bottle of water. Tall one with thick glass and a while cap. He fell and his chest broke the bottle. His shirt was torn up from the shards of glass. My daughter scooped him up and tore his shirt off. Although his shirt was torn in many places, his chest didn’t not have a Scratch! Then he spits out of his mouth and bunch of glass! No blood, no cuts in his mouth! He’s average, even small for his age. Praise the Living God! Wow! We were there a couple of hours later. He always tells me what happened, shows me his booboo’so, he scrapped his elbow on the concrete when he fell. Smart and dad Spiritual he is. Loves to Worship God! Been speaking fluently since he was one. Not bragging, just telling you the facts. I have had many surgeries on my stomach. Hee always asks to see my boo-boo belly. Lol. He studies it, looks up at me and says “looks better grandma”! I love It! I had broken some toes and fell at their house that day, injuring them more. He spent about 5 min. Praying for my foot. See, they have been brought up in the Lord. He is our tenth grandchild and I praise God for every One! All 3 of my grown children read from the Bible to them, pray with them etc. It’s showing! Oh, they are not perfect. Very few of us are, but God loves us all! Thanks for your faithfulness DOTK. You always, teach and encourage. Always have awesome teachings for us. I praise God for all of you!

  12. Thank You for Godly genuine faith not mixed with hope, we don’t want to be double minded in our faith. No hoping no wondering no wishing but genuine faith prayed according to Your word and accepting Your will. Trusting Your will completely and accepting it. We live by faith You will supply in all our needs according to Your riches and glory . We believe and don’t hope You will do it but trust the outcome as your will because we have given it to You and leave it in Your hands. Amen!
