“For I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst, and I will not come in wrath.” Hosea 11:9
“Daughter, why are you so distraught? Why must you insist on punishing yourself, when I have already taken your punishment? Why must you wring your hands in shame, frustration, guilt, and torment, when you can just place them within mine? Do you not perceive, daughter, I have made everything new. My life was given, so that you may have yours. I do not want you to have an ordinary life. I did not bleed on rugged wood for you to merely get by in this life. No, I have an enriching life that I want to give you abundantly before your greatest destination of heaven, home, with Me forever. I have laid out the plans for you long before you were conceived, and on that day as I hung upon the cross for your sins, you were on My mind, and always in My heart. I visited the most darkest place, I walked through the grave, but I walked back out of it. So don’t you see, child, there is no place too dark that I can not pull you out of. There is no depth that My tender arm of compassion can not reach for and grab a hold of you. You are Mine, and I will never let you go. You may drift from Me, but child, I will never drift from you. I am not like man, I am not of man, I am of my Father, the Holy One, and I come in love. Others may have scoffed against you and the weakness of your shame and guilt, but I have come to rescue you. Let Me do what I have always done: let Me show you my great love. You can not fathom the depths of My love for you, it is beyond your comprehension. I look upon you with tears of joy and My heart bursts with love and light and laughter when I look upon your face. You may not see My eyes now, but one day when we meet face to face, you will see the love for you through My very eyes. Trust Me child, believe in Me, I only love you, and I have not forgotten you. Says the Lord.”
Prayer: Yes, Lord, than You for Your word today and for speaking to my heart. I know that You love me, God, but I ask You to help me see that better. Help me to see myself through Your eyes. Help me to understand my value and Your love for me. Thank You for saving me from the muck and mire that I once lied in. You are my God, and I am your child, and nothing can break that bond because You have bought me with Your blood. Thank You, Lord, for all You have done. In Jesus name. Amen.
