The Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, is a world record breaking runner. In 2009, he finished at an astounding 9.58 seconds in the 100 meters and 9.63 seconds in the 2012 Olympics. He is the reigning world and Olympic champion. Many have tried to outrun him, but they can’t do it. He’s too fast!
My sister, God sent His Word and healed and delivered us over 2,000 years ago through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus! Today, if we can only believe in the finished work of Christ and speak His Word from our mouth, we can receive supernatural healing—not tomorrow or next year, but now. The Spirit of God operates faster than anyone and anything. Even faster than the speed of light, which is 186,282 miles per second! The Bible tells us His Word runs swiftly. The centurion understood this very well when he told Jesus, “Speak the Word only, and my servant will be healed.” Jesus marveled at his faith. By the time the centurion made it back to his house, his servant was healed. The Word of God had reached his servant way before he did.
God’s Word is still swift, still sharp and still powerful! When you send out God’s Word from your mouth with a heart full of faith, the Word goes before you in healing your body, healing your mind, and healing your emotions. Say out loud from your heart, “God’s Word is faster than the fastest runner in the world. His Word is swift, sharp and powerful for me. I send out the Word from my mouth. I command my body to be healed by the stripes of Jesus! I rebuke the spirit of infirmity right now and command all oppressive spirits that have kept me bound to leave my body now in Jesus name! My mind is healed! My body is whole! My emotions are stable! I declare this by my faith in the Word of God! In Jesus name!”
