Anytime I ask my pastor, how you feelin’? He responds, I am doing great!!! When you want to know how he’s feeling, he’s going to tell you how he’s doing instead. That tells me he has the mind of a champion, the mind of an overcomer! If Jesus focused on how He felt, He would not have gone to the cross, and truth is, if we focus on how we feel, my sister, we’re not going to take up our cross and follow Him. The pressure is on. We are all feeling the heat, but it is not about how we feel, it’s about what we’ve decided to do and where we’ve chosen to place our trust that matters most. Hold on, my sister. Keep doing the work, keep being a blessing, keep pouring out what God pours in, keep putting that time in to prayer and the word, keep making the right choice to please God over pleasing yourself. Keep on keeping on. You got this because God’s got you!
Prayer: Father, thank you for giving me feelings and emotions but I they will not run my life. I choose to be led by your Spirit, not feelings. You are my hope. You are my strength. I receive your strength to keep being who you made me to be and doing what you created me to do. I receive your unfailing love. You are my faithful Lord and I love you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Yesterday I had a tough day, but I made it through because I kept calling on God in this morning. I woke up, feeling like myself and not so out of sorts and I just have so much hope and peace beyond understanding.! Praise God for helping me through!

Thank You, Kesha, for this much needed devotional. I have been in my feelings these past two days, and the only one who can move feelings to the Spirit led life is God! I will continue to be more spiritual and do my best to not allow offenses to dictate my mood. 🙌🏾❤️✝️

Amen! Good morning Father God, Faithful and Loving God! Praising You for Your faithfulness is just me saying thank You Father! Thank You for Your overwhelming Love! It’s a love that I cannot explain through words! Only through the way I live my life, can I show my gratitude for Your love Father! I will live as You would have me to live my Lord!
