My sister, God is making all things new!

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19

Three key places in scripture, God expresses His plan to make all things new in our lives. He says in Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I will do a new thing.” In Revelation 21:5, He tells us, “Behold, I make all things new.” He encourages us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 with “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

In each instance, God says, Behold! Look! See! My sister, the Lord has blessed you with a new life in Christ and no one can take that from you. He has caused His redemption to create for you an entirely new identity in Christ! Now, He says, Behold! Look! See the new thing He has done in your life. Look no more at the things of the past, my sister, not when He has forgiven you and given you such a beautiful new life in Christ.

He says, you will walk through new doors, seize new opportunities, enjoy new relationships, and soar on new levels and new heights! He will help you put the old things of the past behind you, and lift up your eyes and behold, look, and see the goodness of your Father. You will see how He makes all things new for you because He truly loves you and you are called according to His purpose!

Prayer: Father God, thank you for making all things new in my life. Help me no longer look at the past but turn my eyes to you and help me see the newness of life you have given me. I love you with everything in me and thank you for loving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  2. 2 days ago God brought something powerful things to my remembrance through Facebook post that I’d posted 2 years ago! He was reminding me of my journey and how much He have been making a way out of no way for me plus He caused so many shifting in my life that completely forgot about what happened 2 years ago! God even removed the sad, negative, frustrated and hurtful feelings I felt at those times! He reminded me of the new thing He is doing in my life!! I am so grateful!!🙌🙌🙌🙌

  3. God is making all things news, and because He is I’m asking for the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to press forward in Him pulling off the OLD and putting on the NEW. To behold, look, and see His goodness, knowing He called me for His purpose. To do (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Then, He will be glorified in the earth as I do His will. Father God, I ask for Your help in all that I do. In Jesus Name. Amen. ✝️✝️✝️❤️❤️❤️

  4. I have been so encouraged by DOTK these past few weeks, but even more so the last seven days. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, I’m still learning and processing. It has been this daily devotional that reminds me God is doing something new with me, don’t worry about the past, focus on the future. To God be the glory in my life, and all who serve Him at DOTK.

  5. I received the steps God has ordered for my future. I am leaving the past behind and NOW pressing for those thing that are before me that’s in Christ Jesus my refuge and my Redeemer.
