My sister, you will see God!

“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8

When you surrendered your life to the Lord, He gave you a new mind and a new heart—a heart to love Him with and a heart to serve Him and worship Him with. He gave you His Spirit, His life and completely poured His love within you. If you could imagine the impossibility of emptying the vast ocean into a small thimble-sized cup without spilling a drop, that’s what God did for you through Jesus. In and of ourselves, nothing about us is pure. Nothing about us is holy. Nothing about us is right. But our Father, through Jesus, washed away all of our sin and shame, delivered us out of the kingdom of darkness and placed us in His kingdom. We are not the same. We’ve been made new and our hearts have been changed. Glory!

In Proverbs 4:23, we learn that we are to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from it. If God is after our hearts, so is the enemy. The devil’s primary pursuit is to turn our hearts away from God. But those who refuse, resist and reject his advances, his devices, and his ideas are called blessed of God. It’s time to learn to guard the pure heart God has given you.

I’ve seen a hurt friend choose to do the right thing even though she wanted to get even. I’ve seen an angry wife choose to forgive her husband because she loved God more than her right to be angry. It’s out of our pure love for God that we see His strength manifested in our weakest moments. That’s what God means when He says the pure in heart will see God. Because of your pure love for Him, you will see God’s goodness. You will see Him be glorified in your life. You will see Him turn things around for your good. You will see Him face to face on that glorious day when your life on this side of eternity is over. My sister, you will see God!

Prayer: Father, thank you for the heart you’ve given me. Thank you for helping me guard it. I refuse, I resist, and I reject anything the devil tries to do to get my heart to turn away from you. No matter what my feelings are saying. No matter what my circumstance is saying. I love you and I will see your glory and your goodness in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. This means so much to me this morning 🙌🙌🙌 Thank you Jesus that you paid it all so I could live in eternity with you. You died so I don’t have to go to hell or live in hell anymore. I am trying to find my way back to you as I have lost a son and have lost the light and hope. But God he still is there guiding me speaking to me. Through the spirit you have been speaking these things to me. You have been showing me how to win through such a great loss. I love you Lord. I don’t deserve you but here you are still loving me still comforting me. I love you Jesus with all my heart. Guide us home and in the mean time help help us enjoy the journey ❤️❤️❤️

    1. Joanna I’m so sorry for your loss. I know many people that have lost a child and can still face the day. You are amazing. God is near to the brokenhearted and knows every tear we cry. One day, there will be no more pain or tears, but pure joy weve never known.

    2. Jeanna~
I share your heartache. I, too, have lost a son, my whole world, my everything. The hope and light have left me as well. The last few days, I have started to lose my faith. Tired of praying and begging God for some relief from the deep pain and hopelessness in my heart. I realize that God is the only way that I am still alive.! This message came at the best time possible. I do love God and thank him every day for the blessing of both my sons. I struggle daily with wanting to die without one son but needing to live for the other.
Its been 10months of hell on earth since my son passed. I pray daily to be lifted from this pit and to figure out how to keep going. I am functional but very sad and empty. God will certainly have mercy on me and save me from this hell one day. I have to believe that as its all I have left. Praying for you, Jeanna. May our hearts heal to fulfill our purpose.💔❤️‍🩹❤️
