Passion is created in prayer.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” Ephesians 2:10, NKJV.

I never envisioned myself being a first lady. So when I met my husband who dreams of pastoring a church one day, I questioned our compatibility right from the start. I told God, “I can’t be what he will need me to be.” I was a free flowing creative spirit who hated feeling boxed in. I was planning on becoming a famous painter and art gallery owner, and ministry was no where near my life’s pursuit. But God. He knows us better than we know ourselves. And with every purpose He gives us, He provides the passion, the anointing, the grace and the wisdom necessary to fulfill that particular assignment.

While in prayer, He began to give me a heart for pastor wives. I would find myself praying for them and my heart was enlarged for these beautiful daughters of God who give so much without asking for anything in return. It was then that God birthed within me a passion for ministering to women. Passion is created in prayer. God enlarges our hearts and causes our will to align with His will. He opens our eyes to see problems and how He is going to use us to solve them. It is a beautiful thing! While you may not be called to be a pastor’s wife, trust that the Lord will give you the passion for what He has called you to do. He will equip you and cause all grace to abound toward you!

Prayer: Father, thank you for speaking directly to my heart. I pray you bless your precious daughters throughout the world who are serving alongside their husband’s in ministry. It is not an easy task, but your grace won’t fail them. As for me, Father, I trust that you know what is best for my life. Shape me and mold me into the woman you would have me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    1. God bless you my sister it’s in our lowest moments that God meets us. There is nothing impossible with him. Sometimes we go through trials and testing and that’s to bring us the place God calls us to be. To be of service to the Lord Jesus Christ in your pain you see God reveals himself to you. Later you will be able help someone going through what you have experienced. Father God Creator , this morning in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I present your daughter and her family before you. I pray father that you who is the resurrection and the life will uplift her this morning, I pray your resurrected power be poured into her upon her and surrounds her. Strengthen her father and let her not look on her circumstances but let her look to you the author and finisher of her faith. Father I pray that you will heal deliver and set free her and her family in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

  5. Thank You, Father, for the provision for my life. By Your grace Father, I ask You to continue to mold and make me into the women You have created me to be to grow the gifts You have given me to flourishing to bring fulfillment. In the Name of Jesus. One of my passions for people that profess Jesus being a Christian, actually represent Him right in attitude and behaviors. I have shared with people that’s how we be a light wherever we go, reflecting our Maker. That’s how we witness, by our lives of how we treat each other, loving each other. Walking in integrity, upright with truth and honesty of The One we’re to resemble to represent in the earth to bring justice and peace. That’s is why these devotionals touch me speaking to my heart daily giving me godly wisdom, instructions, leading with guidance. Then, my heart goes out to all women young and older that was abused and or to prevent abuse with me wanting to assist them to get healthy to becoming whole, to know who we are in Christ.πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
