The Lord is Unchanging

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.” Psalm 125:1

“For I am the Lord, I change not.” Malachi 3:6

Lord, you are the same yesterday, today and forevermore. You have not changed. You are and you always will be faithful. You are omnipresent. You are omnipotent. You are omniscient. Lord, in a world that is constantly changing, help us focus on your nature and character. Let it settle us and calm our emotions. Let your unchanging nature remove all fear, doubt and unbelief. Lord, you are our rock. Your truth is our foundation. Thanks to you, we have received a kingdom which cannot be moved. We have received a kingdom which cannot be shaken. You tell us those who trust in you are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved and endures forever. Lord, we come into agreement with your word. No matter what’s going on, you reign and you cause us to reign with you. Our trust and confidence is in you, our unchanging Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

  2. Heb 12;28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our β€œGod is a consuming fire.”

I watched a sermon about this verse on Monday from Jentezen Franklin. I just wanted to put this verse out here because it’s the word of God. Maybe someone wants to write it down too and remember why and what a miracle it is that we can even call him our God. God, you are faithful, and because of you, I do not have to die in my sin anymore. I am redeemed from who I used to be, and you are cleansing me daily. I’m not perfect and not perfected, but a work in progress. Chisel, anything from me and my heart that doesn’t look like you. Thank you for being good to me.
