When I have too many cares to cast on the Lord one by one, that’s when I call on my Father to command His peace in my life. Instantly, I experience calm in my soul. Then the Lord gives me a song that reestablishes my trust and helps me receive peace and joy.
My sister, hear me. When there are too many cares to cast, when there are too many burdens weighing you down, that’s when you cry to the Lord to command His peace over you. The angel of the Lord immediately goes to war, triumphing over whatever has been trying to oppress you. The angel of the Lord will contend with whatever is contending with your peace. You will then experience a supernatural calm on the inside of your heart and mind. You will sense a song rising from your heart to let you know victory has come to you, even if you don’t see it yet. Sing the song the Lord places on your heart to sing. It will reestablish your trust in Him.
Your heavenly Father cares deeply for you, and He wants to bless you today with deep peace and rich soul harmony. He wants to give you rest in your soul, but you must cry out to Him.
Prayer: Father, I cry out to you. Command your peace in my life and calm my heart and mind. Lift every burden and remove every care from me. Contend with whatever is trying to oppress me. Go to war with any spirit that is contending with my peace. Thank you for responding quickly and giving me calm and rest in my soul. I love you, Lord, and I love how you hear me and respond every time! Hallelujah!

Last evening I did cry out and during the night too and this morning I woke up with so much peace and joy! There’s so much going on around me. I don’t understand and so many different fronts, but I know God is with me in for me. He’s gone before me, and he lives in me and he will not let me be put to shame. I give him all the praise and glory because this is HIS Story alive me!

This is a timely encouragement for me considering the responsibilities I have caring for aging family members. I believe the worst part of the “storm” has passed, and that a new “dawn” is coming. Until then I will remind myself of this encouragement.
