#TodaysSpiritualBoost

Last night, I mistakenly butt-dialed my family. I put my phone in my back pocket and heard this ringing sound. When I looked at my phone, there was my mother, father, sister, and nephews in a group chat. All smiling, laughing, and wondering who called who. After our heyyyy and so happy to see you, my sister asked, what was the high and low of your day today? I shared my low was having to say goodbye to a friend, and my high was getting to sit in my daughter’s choir class and hear them sing. We listened to everyone’s high and low, talked some more, said I love you, blew kisses, and hung up. At that moment, I became so aware that God truly sees me and thankful for a strong support system. God sees you, my sister. He is your El Roi, and He will provide you with what you need right when you need it. He sees you and He loves you. #HeIsTheGodWhoSees #TodaysSpiritualBoost

  6. Testimonies- Thank you so much for this Word and remainder that God sees us. You responded to a post that I made in response to your devotional that included the dream God gave you about a frustrated mother who had no help and was taking her frustration out on her children. I think a day after your response, my pastor shared with me that a new member of the church shared in membership class that he loved being a mentor. My pastor has him in mind to be a mentor for my son. First, he wants to observe him for a while to evaluate his character before pairing them up. In the meantime, I will be prayerful and waiting to hear from God regarding if it is His will for this man to mentor my son. My pastor voiced to me that he is very aware of the calling on my life and my gifting to teach the Word of God, minister to and pray for women and wants to use that gift in the Body as we grow as a church. He told me that he watches people’s service and commitment before putting them in certain positions. He expressed that he appreciated how I honored leadership and was very involved in service in the church despite me being a single mom. My first lady said that once I start the ministry God has called me to that she’d be willing to advise me as I asked if she’d be willing. My ministry would be seperate from my church. Even so, I would look to my leaders who’ve been in minstry for years. My pastor and his wife alone have been in ministry for 30 years. This is a testimony to what you wrote in the spiritual boost that God sees and at the right time He will give us the support that we need. This is a testimony that at the right time God will open people’s eyes to see. One thing the Lord spoke in my spirit for a while was that if the doors are not opening and if people are not fully seeing and using your gift, it is not always a problem with the people because sometimes He shuts people’s eyes for a season and hides you while he purges, prunes, refines and prepares you. I forgot this Word from the Lord when I was wrapped up in my feelings. Because the Truth is that no one can stop you from fulfilling your purpose but you. When your called to fulfill an assignment and you answer, obey and surrender to the process of becoming and Him making you into a vessel of honor fit for His use, not even all the demonic forces in all creation can stop you. I believe breakthrough came because I made a firm decision to serve God, my church and others wholeheartedly no matter what and to stay in the church that He planted me in and grow and be a blessing regardless if I felt that I was not fully seen and heard. My pastor said somethings that really hurt. I felt so misunderstood and unseen. I felt that what I needed in support for myself as a single mom and what my son needed was not considered significant or worth fully paying attention to. Maybe somethings he said, the wording came across as callous but his heart was not at all callous towards my situation. Maybe, I heard what he said through the filters of my pain from experiences of rejection and being unseen and unheard. If so, the understanding I got from what he said may not have been what he meant or intended. Maybe, he understood me a little but could not fully sympathize and empathize with my pain and the Holy Spirit increased his heart’s capacity to understand. The lesson for me is grow stronger in being slow to speak or act when emotions are high and be much more quicker to pray and supplicate before the Lord. Get quiet. If speech is necessary, pour out to God before pouring out to men. Even then, the pouring out must be by the Spirit of God: The testimony too is that God kept me anchored, and I passed the test of not running when things got difficult, uncomfortable and painful. When we run when we encounter difficulties in God-ordained relationships we miss the fullness of the blessings people are to be in our lives and we in theirs. I’ve grown in making sure that I am in verticle and horizontal alignment in my priesthood that is and must be rooted in love. I am talking about making sure that my relationship with both God and man is good. My growth was almost stunted by my humanity because I almost let bitterness take over my heart. Had I, God-ordained relationships would have abruptly become undone by my own emotional doing. Through all that transpired,I am stronger better and wiser. I pray that anyone reading this testimony is stronger better and wiser. Your devotionals Woman of God, Kesha and the devotionals of the DOTK Community of Writers that is under your leadership are helping me in what is a life long journey of going from glory to glory in becoming stronger, better and wiser. I don’t know if I will ever meet you in person on this earth, but I know I will meet you one day in the Father’s House. Maybe, we will walk on streets of gold together and talk. And I’ll celebrate and cheer as you are rewarded for the many thousands of lives you are touching and would have touched in total by then. I am and will be one of those lives. I love you, my sista.

  7. * I said thousands of lives. By then, it very well may be millions or more lives that you touched. πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½

  8. Yes Jesus loves me because the Bible tells me so. Thank you. Blessings, Shalom and Agape. πŸ‘€πŸ™πŸ½β€οΈπŸ“–πŸ™πŸ™ŒπŸ½
