I was the first in my family to graduate from a university, the first to wait until I was married to have children, the first to own and operate a successful graphic design business, and the first to lead a global women’s ministry. It has taken the divine help of Holy Spirit for me to come to grips with the reality that I am a pioneer. A pioneer is one that goes before to remove obstructions or prepare the way for another. Because no one in my surroundings has done what God has called me to do, I have had to read books, watch documentaries of great men and women, and look to Jesus, who is my example.
No one on earth had ever fed multitudes of people with three fish and five loaves of bread. No one had performed healing miracles, raised the dead, cast out demons, or calmed stormy seas with just a word. Instead of fighting the pioneer within Himself, Jesus embraced it. He understood that He was paving the way for you and me to do great works and be with Him where He is.
My sister, God has called you to be a pioneer. You will be the first in your family to do great works, live on that level, and achieve wonderful things. Yes, you are paving the way for others who will come after you. You will drop a ladder. I declare over you now that just as Jesus completed His assignment, so will you. Just as Jesus stole away to receive strength and wisdom from His Father, so will you. Just as Jesus didn’t allow Himself to be thrown off course by the opinions of those who had never done what He was sent to do, you won’t either. You will be the beautiful pioneer God has created you to be.
Prayer: Father, thank you for your encouragement to the core of my being. You have called me to do something no one around me has ever done. Help me, Lord, to be the pioneer you’ve created me to be. My trust is in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God has called me to be a pioneer, He said so years ago. This devotional reminded me of that Word that was at the back of my mind. Thank you for a timely word today. I am blessed, encouraged and excited 😁.

Praise the lord ,I was the first and only one in my family yo be saved other than my grandmama. She taught me about God and Jesus! I have always known that God used me to pave the way for others but I was made fun of by family so much for doing the will of God I tried to be like others but still did no fit in ! I finally learned down through my 74 years to keep on keeping on working for the Lord no matter the naessyers !! I love evangelizing the word where ever I am because there is always a soul needing to be fed !! I have been told so many times that I prophecy in my word and don’t even realize it!! Great words sister !!

Amen, Amen, Amen. Its hard to accept being different but I know God created me unique in his image. I am going thru a spiritual battle now where I find the more I seek God 1st in my life, the more folks tend to be offended. Please God, help me to live my life according to your will with no shame.
