flooded with grace
the light of God shines
upon your face
you are drenched with His love
a treasure
enriched
even when you are weak
my sister, you are strength
alone, no never
you are God embraced
His glory is seen
even in your mistakes
a servant’s heart
beautiful work of art
you’re His masterpiece
blessed where you are
you’re one of a kind
you are His prize
an amazing praise
both tested and tried
though it’s been rough
Lord knows it’s been tough
but God is with you
the one who’s more than enough

No matter where you are on your journey, God is at work in your life. You may feel afraid and uncertain, but that doesn’t change who you are. You may feel sad and lonely, but that doesn’t change who you are. You may feel upset and resentful, but that doesn’t change who you are. You are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, so you can do the works, the good things that God preordained, planned beforehand and chose you to do.
Prayer: Thank you, Father! Thank you for speaking poetry to my heart. Thank you for reminding me of who you are, and who I am in you. Thank you for your banner of love over me. I love you and thank you for loving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
