“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.” Psalm 50:15
Help me, Lord, I did it again! Jesus, help me, the doctor is saying it doesn’t look good. Help me, Father, I don’t know what to do about my marriage. He says he doesn’t want me anymore. Lord, if you don’t come through, they’re going to take the house! Jesus, help me hear your voice right now! I need your direction! Jesus, they’re saying they’re going to give my son life in prison. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Lord, please show him mercy! Jesus, help me discover my purpose. Jesus, help me feed my children. Bless me with a good job. Jesus, help me with this addiction. Take it away. Help me forgive. Jesus, help me!
Even if we’ve been saved for one day, we’ve all prayed a prayer of desperation needing God to help us. Some people don’t answer the phone when we call. Maybe we’ve called on them too many times, and to them, we always need something. But God. Aren’t you glad He’s not like man? When we call on Him, He answers us with His divine rescue, with a truth that dismantles every lie of the enemy, with a peace that calms us, and a compassion that is unfailing. He says, call upon me, and I will deliver you.
No matter the trouble we find ourselves in, God promises to deliver us. To deliver is to rescue. It is to pull us up and out of the trouble we find ourselves in and bless you with a powerful testimony. He will deliver you from all trouble, my sister. All trouble. You will give Him all of the glory because you know only He could have done it!
Prayer: Thank you, Father, for being so faithful. You are true, and I love you. When I call on you, you answer me without fail. Maybe not always with the answer I want, but you give me the wisdom I need whenever I’m in trouble. Thank you for delivering me out of every distressing situation. Help me continue to call on you. You care for me deeply. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thank you for this prayer, I’m being honest I don’t know how to pray…
I don’t know how to pray either so I just speak from the heart. I say I speak from the heart because I don’t know how to pray perfect
Sorry I spelled my name wrong by accident.
Thank you Lord, for always being available. You always answer and don’t put me on hold. Praying is just making our petition to someone who has the answer.. It’s just talking to God who understands us like no one else does. We don’t have to use elaborate words. Just speak from the heart. I am so grateful he knows my heart. Thank you DOTK family.❤️
