You will focus on one thing.

One thing I ask from the Lord that will I seek, said David. One thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forth to those things that are before, said Paul. One thing I know, I was blind but now I see, said the man Jesus healed. What is your one thing, my sister? What is your primary focus? You wake up and it’s there. You lay down in your bed, and it’s there, staring you in the face like a hungry child waiting to be fed and embraced. It’s one thing. Not two. Not three. Not four. When life wants to stretch you all over and divide you into pouring a fraction of yourself into many things, the Lord calls you to one thing. I will give you one heart and one way, that you may fear me forever for your good and for the good of your children after you, said God. The Lord Himself is bringing you into focus. He is helping you no longer be all over the place. Stretched all over the place. He is blessing you with singleness of mind and heart. You’ve been wanting to see real progress, and you will. Your heart will focus on one thing, one God, and one way.

Prayer: Yes, Father, focus me. Help me not be all over the place. Stretched all over the place. Bless me with singleness of mind, heart and purpose. Let this one heart and one way bless me and my children. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scriptures: Jeremiah 32:39; Psalm 27:4; 2 Corinthians 4:17; John 9:25; John 14:6

  2. My one thing is to be a woman of excellence! Many years ago God gave me my mantra, a prayer that I cling to and often say out loud, which is: “Lord, help me to always be STEADFAST, FAITHFUL, AND TRUE to you!”. God helps me when I pray this prayer. Sometimes I mess up, get distracted, and stray from my purpose, but God always rescues me and reminds me that this is my one thing that helps me stay focused on him.. It helps me remain a woman of excellence! God bless you for this beautiful women’s devotional ministry! Have a beautiful day!πŸ’•πŸŒ·πŸ’•πŸŒ·πŸ’•πŸŒ·πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ›πŸ›
