You Will Reap

“For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in” Galatians 6:8-9, Amplified.

When we sow into doing what pleases our flesh, we will reap destruction and ruin. But when we sow our lives into Jesus Christ and do what pleases Him, we will reap eternal life and peace. Jesus sowed His life, and because of His sacrifice, we are blessed with salvation, redemption, and sanctification. We are blessed with our name written in His Book of Life that no one can erase. What a blessing. Jesus is our example, and He has made our lives a precious seed.

Your life is a precious seed, my sister, and today, He says by His Spirit, “Do not get weary in doing what is right. Do not faint in your mind. I promise you, you will reap. No seed you sow is ever wasted. All of the prayers you’ve prayed are not in vain. All of the submitting to My will does not go unnoticed. Everything you’ve done to honor Me will produce a divine harvest and tangible fruit. You will always reap more than the seed you’ve sown. The harvest is always greater than the one act of obedience to Me. Keep sowing to the Spirit. Keep doing what pleases Me. Keep fasting and praying. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. Keep growing. Keep standing. Keep honoring those whom I’ve honored. Keep loving those whom I love. Keep being all about unity, all about love, and all about advancing My Kingdom to the farthest ends of the earth. You will reap. You will reap. You will reap.”

  1. This deco was especially tailor made for me. I was very frustrated about giving and sowing and not seeing the fruit. The constant denying myself and walking the tight knit rope when seemingly others can be lax and still reap. Very much in my feelings this morning about some things and then this devo came along and it’s the Holy Spirit talking directly to me. Wow

  2. I will continue to sow in good places. With God’s blessings I will reap. Thank you Jesus πŸ™ŒπŸΎ

  4. Glory! I lost my fiance to a car crash on this day in 2022. He was killed a month before our wedding. Never imagined having to experience this much pain as I have had many losses but this one knocked the breath out of me. Im holding out hope there will be restoration as God always does it, I just pray I will survive to actually see his miracle manifest.
