Keep the same diligence.

“We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. Then you will not be sluggish, but will imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised” Hebrews 6:11-12, Berean Standard Bible.

God sees you and He sees your labour of love. He will not forget the love you’ve shown Him and how you’ve helped others. He needs you to keep that same diligence to the end. Don’t become sluggish or lazy. Don’t become slow in obeying God. Slow in drawing near. Keep the same diligence as in the beginning. Imitate those who through faith in God’s character and patient endurance, inherit the promises of God. I know, you give everything, your time, your energy, your prayers, and the world still appears unchanged. People’s hearts are still cold as ice and their attitudes are still unbelieving. But if God doesn’t forget your labor of love, neither should you.

Rather than dwell on the horrible state of the world, look and see the people who have been reached and changed by the life of God in you. Keep ministering to those who want to truly know more about God and grow in their faith. Rebuke the winds. Rebuke the disruptive. Rebuke the noise who want to stop others from learning about God. The unbelieving in the world and the disruptive spirits in the church and in your home will not stop God’s children from being fed. Don’t be afraid to rebuke them as you continue. You’re living in a day when you have to make a decision to continue on with the Lord no matter who chooses to turn their backs on Him or you. Those who don’t want to follow Jesus any longer, give it God, while you continue on keeping the same diligence to the end.

Prayer: Yes, Lord, I hear you and I agree. I pray that you send your ministering angels to strengthen me. I rebuke any spirit of slothfulness in my faith and ask forgiveness for any disobedience in my life. I pray you touch my heart and mind. Help me not focus on those who reject you but focus on discipling those who have said yes to you. Help me keep the same diligence to the very end. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  2. I will focus on being diligent today, Lord. Issues at my job are trying to make me cave in and grow increasingly frustrated, but I will look to the sky from where my help comes. You see my labor of love, and that’s what matters! πŸ™ŒπŸ½βœοΈβ™₯️ Thank you, Kesha 🩷
