“Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure…” Hebrews 6:18-19a, Berean Study Bible
An anchor doesn’t necessarily keep a boat in place as an anchor alone. The anchor must be let down into the water, and then when the winds come, causing the ship to move, the anchor digs deep into the sand. Without the wind, the anchor doesn’t dig into the sand, and without the anchor, the boat would be driven by the wind and tossed.
My sister, God may be allowing winds to come your way, but know this, Jesus is an anchor for your soul, and the strong winds will only prove this to be true. No outward conditions can move you from your place in Him. You have placed your trust in the Lord, and the winds are causing your anchor to deepen. Your Lord will hold on to you even when you feel too weak to hold on to Him.
Prayer: Thank you, Father, for allowing the winds to deepen my trust in you. Nothing can move me from my place in you, and no one can pluck me from your hand. You are my anchor. Help me not be tossed and carried away by any external conditions. I trust you’ve got me safe, secure, and steady in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank YOU LORD for being my ANCHOR. Every obstacle in my life YOU have brought me through. If everyone & everything is removed from me, I’ll survive. I just cannot survive without YOU. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
