what happened to your sound?
what happened to your fight?
where did you place your growl?
you once put the enemy on the run
your praise used to be loud
you would trample on that scorpion of a devil
and send him running out of town
where are you, my sister?
what happened to your heart?
what happened to your love for God?
where did you place those sincere parts?
you once gave your all to everything
a life of worship was your mark
but now your arms have grown weak
and your songs have grown dark
I know where you are, my sister
yes, I know, this I do
life happened, that’s what it was
life happened to you.
but guess what, dear one?
God’s words remains true
yes, everything He said
He’s still right about you
you are still His precious daughter
and His plans are still in tact
His heart for you is still the same
and that is still a fact
you are still the object of His affection
you are still positioned in a heavenly seat
you are still a force to be reckoned with
you are still a beloved servant of your King
don’t waste another day
don’t live in shame or regret
you can do nothing with the past
one life, that’s all you get
be who you are
you are not what happened to you
God will get the glory
If you let Him do what He wants to do

Life does happen.This devotional today is very encouraging.
I needed this. You have no idea how much God has helped me walk through, and now, I’m facing the biggest battle thus far, while trying to write my memoir. God is still God. I will finish my story and God will get ALL the glory.

Yes, life happen! Physical,mentally and emotionally and spiritually.
Yes,i became numb, nightless sleep. Father, Father my Savior Jesus, You know what I endure and still are.
I humble myself to you, I repent for my shortcomings and or poor choices.
I never felt so alone. I come to daily, but i guess im not connected.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I BIND YOU SATAN, YOU HAVE NO ATTHORITY OVER ME.
GOD SAYS WHO THE SONS SETS FREE IF FREE IN DEED, IM BLOOD BOUGHT WITH THE HOLYEST OF BOOD. I BELONG TO JESUS..

Thank you for reminding me not to let the cares of life, circumstances and situations. The battles, people and anything else to choke the word or my faith out of me and make me unfruitful.
