You have to put in the work.

“The soul (appetite) of the lazy person craves and gets nothing [for lethargy overcomes ambition], But the soul (appetite) of the diligent [who works willingly] is rich and abundantly supplied” Proverbs 13:4, Amplified.

What’s for you is for you but you will have to put in the work, my sister. Greatness doesn’t happen on its own. You have to put in the time and the effort. You have to focus on being obedient. Focus on being diligent and leave being great to God.

In this hour, God is adding super to your natural. He is adding favor to your diligence. He is adding greatness to your obedience. Your steps are ordered by the Lord into places you’ve never been, and rooms you’ve never stood in. Opportunities you’ve never experienced are coming to you.

Prayer: Thank you, Father, for speaking to me by your Holy Spirit. I receive your instructions and I receive your grace to get to work. Help me be focused and committed. Help me be diligent and obedient. As I put in the work, I trust you will cause me to prosper in my purpose and flourish like the palm tree. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

  1. So thankful for this Word to remind me that diligence is required on my part, The blessings and favor are not magical….the Word says that God rewards those that diligently seek Him.
