Father God, I pray for your precious daughter reading this now. You are her resurrection and life. Breathe on her, Father, by your Spirit. Do what she has not been able to do. Yes, her breath may can cool a spoon of soup. Yes, her breath can make cold hands feel warm. But only your breath gets her back on her feet and moving again. Only your breath gives power to her when she feels faint and weary. You remember her frame. You know that she’s dust, and you will continue to show her great mercy, mercy as high as the heavens. Breath into your daughter, and into everything that is dear to her until she comes alive and is filled to the overflow with your Spirit! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
