A Word from the Lord

“Conduct yourself with wisdom in your interactions with outsiders (non-believers), make the most of each opportunity [treating it as something precious]. Let your speech at all times be gracious and pleasant, seasoned with salt, so that you will know how to answer each one [who questions you].” Colossians 4:5-6, Amplified.

My sisters, people are making eternal decisions right now. They are deciding whether they will surrender their lives to Jesus Christ or reject Him. Even Christians are deciding whether they will continue to walk with the Lord or allow themselves to become offended and fall away. The enemy desperately wants to cause many to spend eternity in hell with him, so he is using the fleshly responses of God’s people for his agenda. He wants you agitated today. In your feelings today. Highly annoyed with everyone and everything today. He wants you in the flesh so you can cause a fleshly ripple effect instead of a holy one.

The Lord tells us to not be ignorant of Satan’s devices. The enemy isn’t doing as much in this hour as we might think. He’s not as busy. We are the ones walking in the flesh and giving way to people’s rejection of God. Our Father God said stop letting the enemy control your life or I will give your life over to him. Stop letting him rule you or he will become your master for eternity. As a daughter of God, you are supposed to be governed and controlled by His Holy Spirit and His Holy Spirit alone. Yet, you don’t love how He tells you to love, and the enemy is sitting back letting so many be impacted by your flesh.

I tell you by the Spirit of God to let the Lord produce His fruit in you. Walk in love and humility when dealing with others. Do not let your actions be the reason someone turns their back on the Lord. The love of God coming through you will be the reason someone chooses to turn to the Lord instead. The road that leads to hell will not grow wider and more populated because of you and your lack of self-control. It will grow less populated by the second because of God’s light in you and His Holy Spirit operating all throughout your yielded life.

With every person you come in contact with, you are influencing eternal decisions by your choices and your responses today.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking to my heart and mind by your Spirit. I repent for any behavior that’s not of you, and I receive the shaking of your Holy Spirit today. I receive the help of your Holy Spirit to be the light you’ve called me to be. Help me be salt. Help my words be seasoned with grace. Help me respond the right way and walk in humility. Help me not give place to the enemy, but give room for you to move powerfully in the hearts of all around me. Help me not give people reason to reject you, but plenty of reason to accept you to the saving of their souls. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
