βBlessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord” Jeremiah 17:7, NKJV.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My nameβs sake” Matthew 24:9, NKJV.
Great persecutions are happening in parts of the world today, and I heard the Lord say, we will see an increase in persecutions of Christians worldwide. There will be a deep hatred for anyone who names the name of Christ. The Lord is giving His people an opportunity to practice trusting Him and making a bold stance for Him each day. People who do not trust Him and those who have not completely surrendered their lives to Him are not going to automatically develop great courage when their lives and families are put on the line for the sake of Christ. They will bend like grass blown against by the wind. The slightest opposition will cause them to bow their knee. They spent their lives fearing man more than God and that is how their last moments will be lived.
The Lord says, you cannot fear the one who can take your life, your home, or your material possessions. The Lord wants you to fear the one who can destroy both your body and soul in hell. He is helping you develop courage for that day when you will either have to bow to the enemy or lose your life. How you live out your faith now shows what you will do then. He says, blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who’s hope the Lord is. Trust Him now, and you will trust Him then. Be fully committed to Him now, and you will be fully committed then. Refuse to worship anyone but the Lord your God now, and you will refuse to worship anyone but the Lord your God then. No matter what the devil takes, he can’t take your faith. You are preserved by God, kept by God, sanctified and set apart for this last hour. The Lord’s hand is resting mightily upon you and His Spirit is great within you to strengthen you.
The Lord says, I am wanting a hardness of the legs that refuse to bow to the enemy rather than a hardness of the heart that refuses to submit to Me. He says, many believers have it backwards. They are stiff in the wrong place. Be strengthened in your knees, fixed in your trust in Me, firm in your faith, and soft and pliable in your heart to Me. He is transforming proud, stiff-necked and hardened hearts into broken and submitted people. The hardness is no match for His word that is like a hammer. He will break you and then apply living water to you. Either way, you will sit on the wheel of the Potter, soft and pliable, meek and lowly and will let yourself be shaped into the image of Christ.

Lord I thank you for your word. I have been holding onto Proverbs 3 especially verses 5-6. The scripture has been helping me to trust Him with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding, submitting to Him, and He will make my path straight. In the season of my life, that scripture is helping me to strengthen my faith. I am happy that I won’t bow to the enemy no matter how hard things gets. Even when I go too far the Lord always sends a ram in the bush. Lord I thank you.
