Be Unsuspecting

“…man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

Jesus was unsuspecting. You wouldn’t have thought Him to be the King of kings if you would have seen Him walking on the streets. He looked like an ordinary man when all the while, He was the savior of the world. David was also unsuspecting. He didn’t look like a mighty warrior. He didn’t look like he could slay a giant, let alone defeat a lion and bear. When the prophet came to anoint the next king of Israel and Jesse brought out his strong sons, Samuel asked, “Are these all of your sons?” Jesse answered we have one who keeps the sheep. When David entered the house, God told Samuel that’s him. David didn’t look like a king, but he loved the Lord with all his heart.

You may not look or feel like the kind of woman who would be used mightily by God to impact this world, but remember, neither did Jesus or others throughout history. The Bible says God has chosen the weak things to confound the mighty. He has chosen the foolish things to confound the wise (see 1 Corinthians 1:27). While everyone is focusing on external appearances, continue to focus on the internal by letting God accomplish His work in your heart and mind. Let Him enrich your soul, and you will enrich others.

“Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious” 1 Peter 3:3-4, ESV.

Prayer: Father God, I thank you for your wisdom and your grace. Help me to focus more on the condition of my heart. Make me beautiful on the inside. Strengthen my character. Make my love walk powerful. Transform me until I look like Jesus on the inside and behave like Him on the outside. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Read Psalms 51:6; 2 Chronicles 16:9)

Praise God for your beautiful existence and life of surrender and dedication that is blessing many women. My sister, you’ve only seen the surface of what you will accomplish in the earth as a daughter of the King of Kings for His eternal glory! You yourself are His glory. You are not only His glory, but your veiled in His glory. You shall carry His Presence in such a way that you will change the atmosphere of the places you enter. You shall ascend into realms of the Spirit that you’ve never entered before. You may be pressed and crushed but rejoice for the greater measure of oil that is going to flow from you and bless your family and all within the reach of your influence and God is extending your reach.

Hannah was crushed in Spirit, but from the crushing she was provoked to cry out unto the Lord in a way she never had before. The crushing provoked her to a never before entered into place of supplication and surrender that caused her to be able to conceive and from her womb came Samuel, a carrier of oil. He had so much oil that He was able to anoint, minister to, guide and instruct kings. God shall put you before great men and prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. God has called you for such a time as this!

😭😭😭. Yes, what He showed you shall come to pass. Read again, the vision He gave you and run! Run harder and faster then before, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of your faith. The vision shall surely come to pass.
