“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height…” Ephesians 3:17-18
When did you first welcome Jesus into your heart home? Did you feel His warm presence? Did you feel His great love? Did you feel brand new? Maybe you couldn’t stop smiling you felt so great. Maybe the sun seemed to shine extra bright and you didn’t have a care in the world. You knew He was there because of how you felt. In writing to the believers in Ephesus, Paul mentions something important in his prayer for them. He prays that Christ would dwell in their hearts by faith. Paul was challenging them to go beyond feelings into what they knew.
When it comes to faith, we must believe whether we feel it or not. At the very core of our belief is faith, trust and reliance upon the fact that the Spirit of Christ lives in our hearts. And if He lives, so do we. You will face trials that will cause you to question whether or not He really lives in you. You will have days on your journey with the Lord when you may not feel His warmth like you did when you first believed. You may not feel brand new. You may feel full of sin, but even in that, Christ must live in your heart by faith! It’s a faith thing! Walk in newness of life by faith! Walk in who you are in Christ by faith! Go to Him in prayer by faith! Go beyond feelings and get over into faith. Your faith will see you through every test and trial. Christ lives in you!
Prayer: Thank you, Lord. Your Spirit lives inside of me. I receive your love and your grace. No matter how I feel and no matter what’s going on around me, I trust that you live in me. Comfort me, and help my faith continue to grow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you for reminding me because the Lord Jesus lives I can face tomorrow. Because Christ lives all my fear could be gone. I believe, may the Lord help my unbelief. Thank you. Blessings, Shalom and Agape 👀🙏🏽♥️📖🙌🏽
Sister Kesha, this is a Rhema word from Heaven for me, God bless you for sharing this from the Holy Spirit 🙏
Amen and Amen again 🙌🏾
🙏🏾♥️✝️
Thank you!
I love this!
I have felt Christ with me through my entire life. I was absolutely, literally saved by His Divine Intervention repeatedly. I hear this constantly from other sra and human trafficking survivors.
We have been Lights that were born into the darkness that has never been able to completely take over. We stand tall in that knowing…that total Faith, because we are still alive to tell the tales.
When I was 17, my mother was in Ministry and met the wonderful man that was to be my 3rd father. The other two were involved with evil in every way imaginable, but this man (also in Ministry), saved me on every level.
He sat my brother and I down and lead us through the acceptance of Jesus Christ into our hearts. Christ lived in this man and the Holy Spirit was always shining in his eyes. The Holy Spirit filled me, and I was in total joy that has continued, even when having to run for my life at two different points. There are always the right people in the right moments, and I could see my King of Kings through it all, in their eyes.
This is an amazing adventure we are all on, and Christ is in us, as is His Heavenly Kingdom through it all.
