“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
The Lord wants you to deal with your adversary early. If he can’t stop you from reaching your destination, he will try to stop you from enjoying your journey on the way to it. I heard the Lord say deal with him early, as soon as you hear him lying and see him operating. Refuse to let him speak a minute longer. He is a miserable defeated foe who wants you to be miserable too. He is chaotic and all over the place and he wants you to be chaotic and all over the place too. Refuse him that pleasure by resisting him.
Not only will you reach your destination, my sister, you are going to enjoy your journey on the way there. You will enjoy your day. You’re not spending this day in your head. You’re going to enjoy the supernatural peace of God. You will receive from His Spirit all of the strength you need. God’s wisdom for that situation is what you will receive. Knowledge and understanding will be provided in full measure for you today. As a redeemed daughter of God, the spirit of chaos that is causing destruction and misery in the world will not trespass into your life. You’ve been bought with the precious blood of Jesus. Your Father in heaven has ordained peace for you, and that is what you will enjoy.
Prayer: Lord, I thank you for your love for me. You want to see me free to enjoy every blessing, including the blessing of peace. So I do what you say, and submit to you and resist the devil. I will not spend today thinking about any of his lies. I resist him, putting him under my feet where he belongs, and I choose to meditate on the truth of your word. It’s what keeps me in your perfect peace, thinking on what you say. I believe I will not only reach my destination and highest calling, but because of you, I’m going to enjoy the journey on the way there. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Soooo right on time!! This is what I needed at this very moment!! Thank You, Father! You knew that I was going to reach my breaking point today, and You allowed me to read this devotional at the time that was necessary! Dear Lord, there is a spirit of chaos in my household, and I need Thee to help me through it! I literally had to drive away, get some lunch, and sit at my place of solace. I receive it, Lord, and I will not let my joy be stolen. I will flee from the devil. He is trying to steal my joy and wants my days to be filled with misery and unrest. Not today! Not ever! Thank you for today’s devotional!! Just beautiful!! 🙌🏽✝️♥️
