Don’t be ashamed of the people God has called you to reach.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile” Romans 1:16, NIV.

God cares about everyone. He cares about the woman selling her body to feed her children. He cares about the woman whose body, mind and soul has been ravaged by years of substance abuse. He cares about the woman behind bars who is afraid she will never be free—even after she’s released. God cares. When He tells us to not be ashamed of the gospel, He is not only referring to the message itself but the people He’s called us to reach. We must not be ashamed of them!

Maybe you come from a background of drug and alcohol abuse. There are many struggling with this that need to hear the gospel message. Who would best reach them than you? Don’t be ashamed of them. Maybe you come from a background of mental illness and all sorts of emotional disorders. There are many who need to be reached from someone who understands exactly what they’re going through. Let’s not close our hearts to them!

It is God’s desire that all are saved and come into a true and real knowledge of Jesus! The question is, will we help Him in that endeavor? Will we stand for His Kingdom cause no matter where He sends us?

My sister, let’s do the work of an evangelist and make full proof of the ministry God has given to us. Let’s not be ashamed of the people He has called us to reach!

Prayer: Yes, Lord. I receive your word. You have spoken right to the core of my heart and to who I am. I am your servant, and I’m here to do whatever you ask of me and go wherever you ask me to go. Forgive me if I’ve ever been ashamed of where you brought me from. Fill me with your Holy Ghost power and use me to reach the people you send me to. Help me to do my part in advancing your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  5. Amen, Amen, and Amen!! I can not be ashamed because of all that He have brought me through and still walking with me through the valley of the shadow of death!!! I’m a survivor and more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ.😭😭😭 This touch me, because I can not tell it all and the miracle after miracles!!! He helps me tell my testimonies yo give hope to His daughters young and older to let them know as they come to Him, He would give them rest making them not ashamed of what they’ve gone through. But it’s building, refining them to be as pure gold in the end yo receive what is waiting for them in heaven.🙌🙌🙌

Sister Kesha, I was ashamed, but the more I get to know our Father and know He won’t fail us, and it’s for His glory and not for my own selfish reason I started gaining confidence to help serve as He served. Thank you 💕💐💜💕💐💜
