Don’t belittle your gifts. They work every time!

“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes]” James 1:17, Amplified.

We all have been given perfect gifts. You don’t have to be jealous of someone else’s gifts and desire theirs instead of what God gave you. For example, let’s say God may have put in your hands the skill to make straws, but someone else to manufacture Ferrari’s. God has made you, and the gifts that He put in you, no matter what they are, will work too. They may sell a million Ferrari’s a year, but everyone uses straws. You sell a million straws a day, making just as much money, if not more, than the person that can build a Ferrari.

All of our perfect gifts are all given by a perfect God. He never fails, and He works every time. Let the perfection of your gifts be a reminder of the perfection of your God. Whatever He put in you will work every time because its Author is the true and living God, perfect in all His ways. Perfect in the design of man. Perfect in how He made you. Don’t belittle your gifts. Be encouraged to have faith in what He gave you. Take them and use them for His glory! Your blessing is in your gifts.

Prayer: Father, I love you, and I thank you. You have made me perfect gifts. They work every time. Help me discover every gift and talent you’ve put in me, and may I use them for your glory. Cause me to be a great blessing with them, and at the same time, be greatly blessed through them, even financially. Your will is that I have an abundant life. Thank you for divinely helping me use my gifts to bring all you’ve ordained for me to pass. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

  4. Yes every good and perfect gifts comes from above. This is devotional is a reminder of what my late mother told me as a teenager. Never be jealous of anyone because what they have or do, you can and never think of yourself as better than anyone else because what you have or do they can too. You just have to focus on you and achieve your goals. I see others not in jealousy but at myself in how did I get stuck. I have been trying to pick up my own peices, I have always been a cheerleader for others but not for myself. Thank you this devotional. Blessings Shalom and Agape 👀🙏🏽📖❤

  5. Thank you Father for the gifts you have bestowed on me. I pray that you restore those that have been inactive and expand the ones in use so that I can continue to be a blessing to others. Stir them up Father in the name of Jesus..Amen and 🙏 Amen

  6. POWERFUL 🔥
This confirms what GOD has been showing me relating to a business my husband and I ceated during the pandemic. I never knew artistry was in me, and now I am skilled in it. Never took a class for it, but by GOD’s divine plan for my life I am creating beautiful artwork. I always believe that we are blessed to be a blessing, and my heart desires to live in the overflow. I am seeing it come to pass. Glory be to GOD 🙌 My purpose is clear and I shall continue to ask GOD for wisdom and strength as He guides my path, orders my steps and expands my territory. Abundant life is my portion in Jesus’ name.
Thank you my brother for this onetime word 🙏🙌
