Father, I give this to you.

“Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]” 1 Peter 5:7, Amplified.

What is a care? It is anything we are overly concerned about. Sometimes we can get in the ditch about this subject. We either pretend we don’t care about anything, or we care too much about everything. God didn’t tell us not to care at all or to not think about things. We should care about our children’s safety, about what’s going on with our bodies, our money, and our overall emotional, mental and physical health. We should care about these things and make the best decisions we can make regarding them.

However, where we get into trouble is when we have done everything we know to do, and we begin to care about things we have no control over. When we get over into doing God’s job and worrying about things we can’t control, that’s when the red flag goes up, and we stop and throw our hands up and say to ourselves, “I’m not worrying about this another minute. I cast my cares on the Lord!”

We can raise our children the best we know how and set them up for great success, but if they choose to grow up and live like a barbarian, we can’t do anything about that but give them to God and cast that care on Him. We can do everything we know to do regarding our marriages, but if our husband tells us they’re done, we can’t do anything to make him stay. All we can do is give our marriages to God and cast all of our care on Him because He cares for us.

My sister, if God never sleeps or slumbers, that means we can get some rest. There’s no sense in staying up worrying about a situation we can’t do anything to change. When we have done all we know to do regarding a situation, it’s time to say, “Okay, Father, I give this to you. Help me trust you to take care of it.”

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your overwhelming love and concern for me. Help me not waste another minute caring about things I can’t do anything about. I’ve done all I know to do, and now I cast all of my cares on you for your care for me. You love me. I put my trust in you regarding every area of my life. I now command my body to calm down and my muscles and nerves to relax. I receive peace of mind and the comfort of your Holy Ghost. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  6. OMGoodness, this was just what I needed to read. To have this reassurance, the love God has for us is beyond our understanding and sometimes we don’t even stop to recognize that. Lord I thank you for your grace and mercy.

  7. Yes, Lord thank you, for Your love that surpasses all understanding. Your love that casts out all fear. Your love that draws us to Your purpose and freedom in our lives. Thank you Father for giving us a sound mind in all circumstances. Thank you for instilling a soft heart full of Your love and joy so that our cup overflows each day. (May we continue to walk worthy of the calling we have received with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us.) Eph. 4:1-2 HCSB

  8. I really needed this word… This is right on time as all the other ones have been… I have been dealing with a break up between my boyfriend and I, and it hasn’t been easy at all, but each and every day I get excited about reading this devotional and I look forward to the encouragement, strength and instruction that I will receive from you because of the Holy Spirit this speaks through you… Thank you and God bless you for your obedience and your word ❤️

  9. AMEN!!! I am so glad that God loves me and is concerned about the things that concern me. I realize He is so much better at handling them than I am. I Trust You, Lord!! All that I am I yield to You and all that I have I give to You. withholding nothing! God bless you!1❤

  10. This ministry is such a blessing to me! It’s like the Holy Spirit speaks to me every time I read a devotional. I would be talking to Jesus about something then start to read a message maybe days later and the devotional would be the exact what I just was talking to Him about! Amazing! Thank you Jesus for speaking to me through this ministry. God bless everyone. 💗

  11. This devotional is right on time. I will let go and let God. No more stressing. I need peace.

Thank you again Sis. Kesha. Blessings, Shalom and Agape.🙏❤🙏❤🙏

  12. Anxiety can be difficult to stop. But u can get therapy and/or meds depending on the cause. I get it a lot both generalized anxiety and also a lil social anxiety plus paranoia / a lil psychosis blah. But yes pray definitely helps and reading Bible and this devotional. And other things like healthy diet, exercise can burn off anxiety and help sleep (but not too near bedtime or chemicals released by exercise keep awake). Also if u force self to do things that make u anxious, unless it backfires it can reduce anxiety, cuz instead of avoiding, u get new habit and altho uncomfortable at first, thru repetition it can help (altho seek professional help and blah cuz can backfire make u even more scared if goes wrong). But overall yes only God can rlly protect n help us

  13. Nobody but my King Jesus!!! Yessssssss my Lord Yes🤝🤲💜🙇‍♀️

Bless Kesha T. indeed & her family. PS.91 be unto them.

  14. I have been struggling with anxiety. Where it comes from i know not. Sympdoms scare me. Lord i casd it to you.

  15. Thank you for this precious message. It’s so needed….and so desired for peace.
My all time favorite scripture is:
“Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God and the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds thru Christ Jesus”
    Philippians 4: 6 & 7
Gods word is powerful and it will free us.
    Thank you again 💞

  16. Thank you for this.
I have spent 40 years not understanding why I don’t have a husband or children when that’s,all I ever wanted in life.
The endless anxiety, and thinking and dwelling on all the “all mosts” have at times immobilized me.
It’s,been hard bUt after realizing it was,out of my,hands. I did indeed do everything I could do to change it..I could focus on everything else .
Accepting our crosses, and letting ourselves,be guided in other directions is,so hard for us. But it’s a must.

  17. Thank you I needed this. Thank You Holy Spirit for leading me to open this app, it had been a while. God bless you abundantly!
