like a protective shade
He covers you
and He won’t go away

you will watch Him arise
over the ocean of your dreams
and cast His light
over secret imaginings
He is for you
He will take your life and transform it
He will take your heart and free it
He will take your mind and heal it
and then turn to you
for a Father and daughter dance
your hand in His
no more turning away

to be here in this great place

Prayer: Father, thank you for blessing me with a new life in you. You are amazing! I praise and honor you. You are faithful and so rich in mercy. Thank you for calling me to this place in you. You grabbed me by my hand and you’re helping me to be all that you called me to be. You are with me, even when I feel afraid. I love you. You’re keeping me close to your side and helping me keep my hand in yours. Lead me and guide me through everything in this life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
