God wants to heal us completely and make us whole.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” Psalms 147:3, ESV.

Sometimes we judge others by their actions, but the Lord knows there is a deeper reason behind everything we do. Only His power can break the chains. Only His Holy Spirit can do the real work. No matter how we stand and declare that we are free, only God knows. No matter how we stand and declare that we are healed, only God knows. He knows where we truly are and the condition of our hearts.

With tears I write to you because I can feel where many of us are today. Many of us as women are struggling. Many of us are masking pain. Many of us are turning to addiction to escape or numb ourselves. Many of us are turning to things that don’t at all reflect who we really are as daughters of God.

This is why Jesus came. He knows how to get to the heart of the matter. He knows how to minister to the deeper root. He knows how to flood every dark and every closed off place in our lives with His truth.

On this Good Friday, our good and merciful Father wants to heal us completely and make us whole. He wants to deliver us from a life of sin and give us a new life in Christ, but we must allow Him access into those deep places that we haven’t allowed anyone access into.

Will you give Him access today?

From your heart, pray this prayer, “Lord, I surrender my life to you. Come in. Forgive me for anything I’ve done that was not like you. Here’s my heart, Lord, take it and heal it. Here’s my life, Lord, repair it. Set me free by your power. Shine your loving light on every place in me please. No matter how long it takes, I trust your process that brings real change and supernatural growth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
