God’s provision is in His wisdom.

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

I remember for almost two years, my husband and I were without transportation. We were newlyweds in a new city and struggling. While walking one day from the store with bags of groceries in my hands, as cars sped by, I said, “Lord, do you see what we’re going through? We need a car!” The Lord didn’t give us a car; He gave us wisdom in prayer.

We were in the wrong city, in the wrong place. Once we came together in prayer and located the wisdom of God, we moved, and instantly, God began to move. Doors began to open, and within a week, we had a new job and a new car.

My sister, the will of God is the wisdom of God, and His provision is always in His wisdom.

You may have asked the Lord to meet a physical need in your life. While you’re seeking Him in prayer, He’s going to help you locate His wisdom. When He does, follow it, and He will minister to your needs.

Prayer: Father, you are my shepherd. I shall not want. As long as you’re leading me and I’m following you, you will provide and take care of me. More than any physical need in my life, I ask for your wisdom and your guidance. Show me the way you want me to go. As I receive and follow your wisdom, I know you will supply my every need as you said you would. Help me not to lean to my own understanding but trust in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
